Chapter 7 - Sleepover Aftermath

Izuku ended up following Ashido back to her room instead of going out for a run like he planned. She didn't want to be alone and Izuku didn't want to leave her alone either. So he'd sat on her bed and listened as she got everything off her chest. Hugged her as she spoke, comforted her as she cried. In the end, he must've fallen asleep there, because when he woke up, he was cuddling the pink girl, her blankets thrown haphazardly over them. Hmm, the sun was up already, that was a surprise... He was glad he got at least some sleep.

He yawned, feeling Mina stir.
"Hmm, just another minute" she mumbled. Izuku smiled, laying his head down again. He didn't mind laying here a little longer. She must be exhausted too, after such an emotional night. Their peace was disturbed when the Bakusquad minus Bakugou came knocking, walking in like this was their own room.

"Hey Mina, did you do the math homework already?" Kirishima asked as he walked in, followed by Sero and Kaminari.
"Blasty isn't in the mood to help us so-" Sero sighed, trailing himself off when he saw Izuku cuddled up with their friend. The green head froze up, hearing the gears in their heads turning. At first it were simple questions. Is that Midoriya? What is he doing here?

After their confusion wore off, it turned into something more...bitter... Why didn't I know he's so close with Mina? When did that happen? Why didn't Mina say anything? If he hurts her, I swear I will-
"I said another minute" Mina groaned, clinging onto Izuku even more. No, no, no, no! Not the time, Ashido!

"Midoriya" Kirishima said, a forced smile on his face as he hardened and unhardened his hands a few times. He sounded scary and the threatening thoughts told Izuku that making one wrong move would mean certain death. He never realized how overprotective Kirishima was over Ashido... Well, guess they did go to middle school together, but still.
"Get. Out"

Izuku squeaked, quickly getting up with no regard for Ashido's comfort as she got dragged up with him, and rushed outside of the room.
"Hey! Wait up!" Kaminari called after him, wanting to know exactly what Midoriya was doing with Ashido just now. He promised Mina he wouldn't say anything! If he wanted to avoid this conversation, escaping to his room was the only option! He quickly slammed the door shut behind him, panting as Izuku tried to catch his breath.

The fuck is Deku running for? He never runs from a fight, that reckless idiot.

Izuku's eyes shot up, frowning as he caught sight of Kacchan. How long had the ash blonde been here..?
"I came looking for you, you weren't here" Kacchan explained. I know you wouldn't actually be sleeping in like you said you would. Where the hell were you? Why the fuck are you looking like that? Did you overhear something again? Some dark shitty secret about some moron keeping all the bad things to themselves and not seeking out the help they need. Fucking damnit! Why didn't I realize it sooner?!

Before Izuku could react, there was a loud banging on the door.
"Midoriya! Open up! You can't just leave like that without an explanation!" Kaminari shouted from the other side. Kacchan frowned, getting up, only for Izuku to frantically wave with his hands, signaling for him to be quiet. What the hell did you do nerd..? Why is dunce face of all people after you?

"He was where?!" Mineta's voice came from the hallway before he joined Kaminari at his door. Oh god, Izuku could already hear his impure thoughts streaming into his mind...
"Midoriya, you secret casanova! Acting all innocent and then sleeping in one of the girl's dorms! You sneaky bastard! What did you do?! Tell me everything! I want details!"
Kacchan's eyes widened before zeroing in on Izuku.

Deku spent the night with one of the girls?! Who?! Don't tell me it was that round cheek chick! He's supposed to be my boyfriend! Do I matter so little to him..?
[It's not what you think, I swear!] Izuku signed, a panicked expression on his face. He needed to make things clear without oversharing, but he had no idea how.
"If you hurt Mina, the squad is gonna hunt you down, just so you know!" Sero added. Wait... YOU SLEPT WITH RACCOON EYES?!
