This is my first short story in years. I wrote it for submission and consequential participation in the annual Commonwealth Short Story Prize 2022. The story didn't make it to the shortlist but it is a story written by me and I got to embrace it and push it whatsoever.
The rebirth of my time and effort for short stories is an indicator that my passion for literary creativity is expanding.
In appreciation to my friend, Treasure, who introduced me to the short story prize, I decided to come up with this fantasy about her and ice cream, something she really enjoys and thus treasures.
