"I still can't believe it...You're my wife now. Pinapaginipan ko lang ito noon."

Napangiti ako sa sinambit ni Marcellus. Lumapit ako sakanya para mahalikan ang kanyang labi.

"Parang panaginip parin ba?"

He smirked and went for a kiss again.

Ala siete na ng umaga, pupunta ako ng City hall nang eight thirty pero nakahiga parin kami sa kama at walang balak bumangon.

After our unexpected civil wedding, I filed a leave again because we went abroad for our honeymoon. Two weeks kaming nasa ibang bansa, at kahit nakabalik na ay tuloy parin ang honeymoon namin. We just can't get enough of each other.

Seven thirty nang magdesisyon na akong bumangon. Marcellus still wants to stay in bed so I let him. I called Lauren na malilate ako bago ako naligo. I changed into a cropped blouse with integrated plastron and a flared pants. Then pumunta naman akong kitchen para makapagluto nang breakfast namin.

Marcellus decided that he wants for us to live in my penthouse for the meantime habang pinaplano pa namin ang pagpapagawa ng sarili naming bahay. He gave his penthouse to Elias as a retirement gift. Yes, he and Elias filed their retirement the next day after our wedding.

Madaming nagulat sa biglaang desisyon ni Marcellus dahil isa ang Black Rose sa pinakakilalang Mafia clan. Nabalita pa nga ito sa news pero hindi na nagbigay ng ibang detalye si Marcellus. People speculated that it's because their former leader is already in jail, so they might just want to abolish the whole clan.

I made an egg sandwich with green bean slaw. A coffee for Marcellus and a banana, honey and hazelnut smoothie for me. I don't feel like drinking caffeine these past few days and it's very unusual because I love coffee! Coffee makes my days.

While I'm arranging our breakfast on the countertop, an arms slid on my waist. I can't help but smile.

"Yes, Mr. Cortez?"

Marcellus sniffed on my nape. "You smell so good, Mrs. Cortez."

"Mm-hmm?" Inalis ko ang mga kamay nya na nakapulupot aking baywang at tyan tapos humarap ako sakanya. I put my arms on his shoulders then he slid his hands on my waist again.

"Baka itong coffee ang naamoy mo?" I teased.

Umiling sya at dinampian ako ng halik sa labi. He's just wearing his pants and still naked on his upper body. Mas lalo akong napangiti nang makita ang bed hair nya. Inangat ko ang kamay ko at mas lalo pa itong ginulo. My husband just cutely pouted.

"Can you not go to work? I'm gonna miss you."

It's been two days since we went back from our honeymoon. Ngayon ang unang araw nang balik ko. Gusto ko mang mag-stay nalang sa penthouse para samahan si Marcellus ay hindi pwede dahil madami akong naiwang trabaho sa biglaang leave ko.

"I'm sorry, baby, but I really need to. Madami akong kailangang gawin. I'm your wife but I'm still a mayor."

Marcellus cutely frown, then he lean closer and gave me a tight hug. Sinuklian ko ang kanyang yakap.

"Kaonting hintay nalang at next election na ulit. Diba I promise na hindi na ulit ako tatakbo?"

Walang imik si Marcellus at patuloy lang ang pagyakap sa akin.
