"Hey! Ash! Come on, man!"

It was quill but Ash didn't listen, he phased in and out of reality, the feeling the Aether had on him was still there. Nicotine reacted by sending out uncontrolled bursts. Ash cried out in pain, though it wasn't real. He panted heavily and Gamora managed to grab his face, making him look at her.

"Look at me, whatever you're going through right now, isn't happening. You need to calm down." She said firmly.

Ash stared at her and tapped into her emotions, using them to ground himself. After a moment, he took in a deep breath and relaxed.

"Holy shit, what was that?" Quill piped up.

Ash ignored him and Gamora grabbed the Orb, quickly leaving the building. The two followed her.

"Okay, so don't answer me then–" He started.

"How could I ever think that he could contain the Orb?!" Gamora exclaimed, interrupting him.

"What do you still have it for?!" Rocket yelled, walking over in shock.

"What were we gonna do? Leave it in there?!" Quill retorted.

"I can't believe you had that thing in your purse!" The rodent cried.

Quill looked at him in offence, "Hey! It's not a purse, it's a knapsack!" He snapped.
