180 Days Until Jiu Attacks
Adrian and Alex were now up watching the storm clouds form overhead, Kevin glared at Saiken but, slowly his face formed a wicked smirk. Ramona looked at Sapphire then back at the boys who looked like they were ready to kill one another
"What do you mean his thoughts are all black?" she asked, Sapphire had a distressed look on her face
"I think he's going to try and kill Saiken" she finally replied, Ramona began to worry when her face contorted with confusion
"Who the hell is that?" Ramona asked, Sapphire strained here eyes to see a man wearing an all white flowing robe with a familiar looking girl. Sapphire then remembered where she saw the girl before, she was in the picture in Kevin's room. The mysterious man walked into the clearing with the aura of a wise master, what was even more surprising he was walking towards the two boys without any resistance to Kevin's electricity that was randomly dancing around him. Everyone watched in awe as the man promptly smacked Kevin in the back of the head knocking him out as he exited his awakening
Greg then turned to look at Saiken who was still using The Cloak of Muramasa
"I don't know who you are old man, but I will cut you down with......" Greg quickly open palmed Saiken in the stomach, the force made his eyes roll back as he lost consciousness. He exited his awakening and dropped his sword, Saiken collapsed on his knees and fell on his side. Greg then proceeded to pick up Kevin and carry him along, as he made his way past Saiken and closer to Madam Zari's house he spoke
"Someone get that young man off of the ground, please" he said, Kevin lay dangling as Greg carried him like a dog who had just got loose from his chain. Madam Zari slowly walked outside and smiled when she saw Greg
"It's been awhile Greg" she said, he smiled and bowed before her Kevin still in tow. the others were at a loss for words Just how the hell does he know her? they thought
"It has, I hope my student wasn't giving you a hard time" he said looking at Kevin disapprovingly". Madam Zari shook her head
"No, he's been an angel" she replied, Greg shook his head
"Nonsense" he looked at Kevin "This behavior is unfitting of a young man such as himself" he said. Madam Zari smiled warmly
"It's quite alright" she responded warmly, Greg then turned around to face everyone
"I am Gregory Do, Madam Zari believes I can help you all get strong enough to battle Jiu in the upcoming months" His voice boomed. Ramona and Sapphire were helping Saiken get up when they exchanged glances, Greg continued "We only have six months so we must make them all count" he glanced at Ramona "You, the young lady with the magic" Ramona pointed to herself accidentally dropping Saiken unto Sapphire
"Me?" she asked, Greg nodded
"You shall work with Madam Zari mostly but, whenever she has taught you the lesson for the day then, you shall train with my daughter to get your hand to hand combat up" he said. Ramona glanced behind her to see Eliza with what looked like a fiendish grin on her face. Ramona gulped
"Great" she muttered. Greg turned to Kevin slowly gaining consciousness
"You already know where you'll be" he said, Kevin groggily nodded. Greg looked at the unconscious Saiken and sighed "Actually, I believe you two have a score to settle so when he wakes up you two will have a spar" Kevin groaned and put his head back down rubbing his forehead. Greg then saw Adrian, Alex, and Judah began walking into the backyard from the house. Greg nodded approvingly "The boy with the lion on his shirt shall train with Adrian and Alex" Judah looked Greg's way and nodded but, saw Kevin. He frowned a second but continued walking towards Adrian. Greg looked around the backyard "You all are Earth's protectors now, according to Madam Zari you've also bonded with your spirits. We only have one chance to defeat Jiu, so we need to make it count" He said with a stoic resolve. His speech really seemed to get everyone pumped, even Kevin was pumped until he turned to Kevin and motioned for him to follow. Kevin got up and followed his master, the two walked in silence until they stumbled upon a watering hole with vibrant green plants all around. Kevin was so caught up in the recent events he forgot they were in Africa
