"I wish she had just died. Why petrify someone like her when you can just kill her!" Silver cackled, her two friends laughing with her.
I knew Silver was saying this to get under my skin. Before I had entered the corridor she was talking about some seventh-year boy, but when she saw me approaching she quickly changed the subject to Clarisse. Her voice was so obnoxious I could hear her from three rooms over.
Ignoring her, I continued down the corridor toward the dungeons. All I could think about was getting out of this itchy dress; Silver was the last person I wanted to deal with right now.
"Hey!" Silver yelled, her fat heavy footsteps approaching me. I could hear her friends' footsteps also approaching. Perhaps if it were just me and Silver this situation would end much differently.
"Hey! I was talking to you!" Silver shouted, grabbing ahold of my bicep with her sticky hands.
"Touch me again and I will cut off your fingers and feed them to you," I hissed, ripping my arm out of her grip.
"What a bitch. No wonder she has no more friends," Silver giggled, turning back around to join her friends. I always wondered how people like Silver ever made friends.
I walked out the corridor, about to turn toward the dungeons, before realizing something about girls like Silver. Silver, and those similar to her, needed to be put in their place.
Instead of leaving the corridor, I hid in the darkest shadow to avoid being seen. I was quiet and careful to not move a single muscle as I waited for the group to pass. I did not know what I was planning to do to them; perhaps a good little scare to put them in their place.
For what felt like an eternity, the group stood by the window with the moonlight illuminating their bodies. Silver spoke of vulgar subjects regarding the seventh year boy, while the other two girls nodded at every word she spoke.
I had a new understanding of torture; torture was listening to Silver speak for five minutes straight.
"Girls, I will meet you back in the dorms. I'm going to take a bath. He has made me exhausted after three rounds!" Silver giggled. In response, the two girls giggled before running off to the dungeons to leave Silver alone.
Silver walked directly past me and toward the baths. I followed quietly behind her knowing that her two brain cells would not be able to realize that she was being followed. I don't understand how she has made it in life this far.
She whistled a tune as she walked toward the lavatories, oblivious to the fact that I was a few feet behind her. I grasped onto the locket dangling from my neck, grazing its green crystal. I did not know why I wanted to put her in her place so badly nor did I know what I was going to do to her. All I could think about was Riddle.
Silver began to remove her shirt; however, I quickly made my presence known. Seeing Silver naked was the last thing I wanted; it would add me to the petrified students in the hospital wing.
"Cow," I muttered.
"What in bloody hell. Pervert!" Silver shrieked.
I looked around the lavatory, realizing it was empty, and then back to Silver. "Don't flatter yourself. You may be the ugliest thing I have ever laid my eyes on," I hissed, taking a step closer to her.
I admired her strength. She wanted to be tough and independent; however, just like Riddle, she was a coward.
Riddle.
"You are being creepier than usual," Silver hesitated. Every step I took toward her she mimicked by taking a step backward.
With the flick of my wand, Silver was flung against the tiled wall so hard a few tiles fell to the ground with her body. She screamed in pain, a small patch of blood beginning to drip from her forehead.
"You cunt-!" She screamed; however, I grabbed ahold of her ugly red hair before she could finish her sentence.
In an instant, we were no longer in the girls lavatories. There were no baths or toilets surrounding us. Instead, there was a cold floor flooding with water that smelled of rot. I looked around the large open space, instantly recognizing where we were. The snake statues and strange architecture reminded me of the multiple visions I used to have. Now, there were even a few bones scattered throughout the chamber.
For a moment I believed I was having a vision, but based on Silver's panicking demeanor I realized we were genuinely here. In the Chamber of Secrets.
"What did you do? Where are we? How did you-?" Silver panicked, still on the ground. Her hands groped around her, trembling, looking for any form of protection. I could not tell if she was more scared of the chamber or me.
Had I just apparated?
I squatted down to reach her height level, taking advantage of how terrified she was. "This is where a giant snake lives. The same monster that is petrifying all the mudbloods in this school."
I smiled, watching as Silver began to shake even more as she realized I was not lying. Her eyes scanned the chamber; she cried in fear as she saw giant stacks of snakes skin and mounds of bones scattered throughout the chamber.
She lept to her feet and tried her best to run away. It was obvious she was more scared of me than the giant snake lurking in the chamber somewhere.
I grabbed ahold of her ankle, causing her to instantly fall and land flat on her face. She cried in pain, yet again, holding onto her now bloody and broken nose.
"You are crazy!" She shrieked.
"No. You are just really annoying," I replied, holding tightly onto my wand. I muttered a spell that I had learned in my second year to help with trimming my hair. I had never thought the spell would come in use, until now.
I hovered my wand above my palm, drawing a straight line down my skin. I watched in amazement as blood began to flow from my palm due to the spell. I couldn't feel pain anymore; however, from the amount of blood gushing from my hand, I knew it would hurt someone else.
My eyes flickered down to trembling Silver. "I am sorry! I get the point. I promise I will do whatever you want. I promise. Please!" Silver begged. At one point in my youth, I had once dreamt that someone beg and plead for me to spare them. Now, actually, in the moment, I realized it was a lot grosser than I had imagined. I scrunched my nose watching her tears, snot, and blood combine into one and trail down her face.
Pathetic.
I wondered what Riddle would do in this situation. He would most likely turn her into his slave somehow, to make him feel as powerful as he could.
Riddle.
I felt a wave of heat roll across my body at the thought of Riddle. Instead of trying to calm the anger running through my body, I pointed my wand at weeping Silver.
With the swipe of my wand, I watched as her throat split open and blood began to gush out onto the ground until death claimed its baggage.
