I wiped my tear-streaked face,
Applied some foundation,
Filled in my brows,
And added red lipstick.

Dressed in my luxury red dress,
Wore my highest heel that could kill,
Fixed my hair into perfection,
Sprayed myself some extravagant perfume.

Clutched in my diamond necklace,
Smiled at the mirror.
How can a mere girl change into perfection?
Abandon every flaw to look like an angel.

I was just a human,
Weak, flawed, imperfect, broken.
And also a chameleon,
Will do anything to be perfect.

Yet despite my attempts,
I was never the one.
Seeing you with another girl,
Makes all my facade tumbling down.

Smiling and laughing at her destroys me,
Being with her had me enough,
Kissing her breaks me,
Loving her kills me.

Am I too fat?
Is my beauty not enough?
Do I have a rotten personality?
Or is it just that I'm not the one for you?

I gave my all but you never noticed,
She walked and you worshipped.
She wasn't wearing any luxury things or mysterious personality,
She was bare and you loved her that way.
