𝐉𝐉, 𝐏𝐎𝐏𝐄, 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐘, 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍, 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐊𝐈𝐄 all peered over the fence they were hiding behind, waiting for ward to make an appearance. the five pogues had followed gavin to one of ward's construction's sights in town, the pilot sitting in his truck as he waited for ward. it had started raining at some point, each and every one of them being soaking wet. but they ignored it, knowing that it was worth it if it mean john b and sarah got to come home. pope pointed an old camera at the two men, earning a weird look from jj.
"nice camera. where'd you dig up that relic? why don't you just use your phone?" the maybank boy quizzed.
"well, first of all, i like my antique electronics." pope started, earning a small smile from mickey. "and second of all, this is a telephoto. it allows me to get a close image from far away."
"lord of the dorks." kie mumbled, shaking her head slightly.
"for definitive proof of witness payoff, we're gonna need quality glass." pope informed.
"guys, there he is." rain whispered, making everyone look forward to see ward running.
