𝕊𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕦𝐏𝐎𝐕:
Growing up with Dia was fun we started slow and steady, became friends and by the time we where teens we fell in love, we were only made aware of our marriage later by my parents and a letter the former king left for Diavolo before leaving to rest.

Diavolo was sad for a while but got back up and i was there every single step of the way, i won't miss him much since he wasn't there all the time for me and for his son, even if he cared he was mostly absent duo to work and other matters, we cried, we smiled and we laughed together, everything was perfect.

Till it simply wasn't

My wedding day was supposed to be the happiest day of my life, i was getting ready to get dressed and do make up till a knock on the room's door i was staying in rang through the room"Little Snow? Can I come in?" it was my father'why come in now? It's still early till the ceremony starts' i thought "Sure, come on in, i was about to start getting ready" i said once he opened the door and came in "I'll close the door and talk to you about something that is very important to our clan and is tradition wen a member of the clan is getting married and has a big chance on succeeding the position of new leader of our kind" he said with a cold tone and unreadable expression"Father?..." I said now actually looking at him and not through a mirror.

He pulled out a silver dagger, the handle decorated with a single deep red ruby and a little chain at the tip of the handle, the blade looked so sharp that it could cut a buffalo's skin with ease.

My eyes widening as he held the blade to me "For you to assume your position as cheif and soon to be queen this day, I shall recite the oath and you shall promise everything " i didn't want to do this, he was my freaking dad! My family! What about mom?! Did she know about this?! "I- what are you talking about? And what about the dammed knife your carrying " I raised my voice at him, this was out of everything i prepared for! He came close and put the dagger to my hand and said "i didn't raise the weak, i rased the strong warrior that is now standing before me today 4 hours before her wedding, i want you to take control of the kingdom...as much as that spawn is said gentleman i do not like to be associated with that man or his blood" i was shoked aswell as confused on why he never showed any signs of opposition

3°POV:
"As the leader of our hunt i pass the title of cheif to my daughter, Shinu himefrost, do you, my huskiling, promise to lead our clan to glory till you pass the title to another that is of your blood or the champion of power? " with the dagger now in her hands she looked in her eyes and said "I promise to lead with bravery and never use my heart to take decisions, to lead our clan to victory and prosperity as long as I am the cheif of the hunt" with the short but heavy oath finished he gave her a look knowing what it meant she shook her head "I won't kill the person I love...even if this union was formed by a contract we found love long before awareness of all the plan" once Shinu finished she turned her back and looked into the mirror

He huffed, disappointed yes but still sad that she would choose a boy over family "Fine then... don't expect to see me or your mother at the ceremony, you can get the butter to give you away" Inu spat angrily and stormed out of the room banging the door on his way out

Taking a deep breath and looking in the mirror tears filled her eyes but she didn't dare spill them "Fine....not like i was expecting anything else from you, you never did bother knowing me" with that she went out and met with Barbatos seemly waiting for her with an extended arm

𝕊𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕦POV:
I was ready, i was beautiful and my smile couldn't be taken off, even if I was a mess on the inside, i had hope that he was bluffing and would be there hiding. As i walked down the isle with Barb i subtly looked from them but no sign of them

When we walked i zoned out and started thinking on the 'what if' and the memories me and Dia created and are creating

'Like that one time wen me and him just randomly decided to play princess and dragons and he ended up kissing me on accident and he became flustered and kept apologizing'

'Or that one time wen me and him fell in the lake and got bitten by fishes, yeah that one somehow hurt'

'Oh! And that time wen i got us up in the chandelier and Barb had to get a staircase couse we couldn't get down, that one was fun except that we got scolded for half na hour, i don't regret it one bit'

I only got out of the clouds wen i heard Diavolo say "I do" he said grinning at me with blush dusting his cheeks "Do you Shinu Himefrost, accept Diavolo Crimson as your lawfully wedded husband in all the next life times that may come and go?" The archangel said and i took a deep breath

The party wen for long hours the groom and bride went to their now shared chambers and just relaxed in each other's company and the rest is history.

𝔼𝕩𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕤:

Cries where heard throughout the room as couple sat in the bed having changed and under a pile of blankets, she told him her sorrows and cried her heart out till the delicate face where puffy and red from crying and the markings under her eyes where slightly glowing.

He looked at his wife, best friend and lover with a gaze that held a million of apologies, words and promises he made to himself that night, was he smitten for her? Totally but he can admire her later once that lovely smile is back on her face.

But for now he'll help her get back up like she did with him many year's ago....
