He walked down the street,
A can of pop in his grasp,
He drank the dregs of it and chucked it to the path,
It rolled down the pavement and down to the river,
Where it fell down the bank and into the water's shimmer,
Bit by bit the water grew darker,
Murky, clouded, litter-filled...polluted,
As the man looked around him, he saw more human beings,
They were tossing litter to the ground - oblivious to everything. The wind grew wild and it started to rage,
The sky clouded over as if it were to rain,
The plants crumbled away as if being burnt to ashes,
And that's when the hurricane started...
It lashed through the sky,
It tore buildings apart,
Trashed everything in its path,
A tsunami erupted,
As thunder and lightning exploded,
Like laser beams in a video game,
Smashing everything in sight...Wrecking the entire City,
The country,
Destroying the entire planet.Think back to where this began...
One 'harmless' can,
Chucked to the floor by a man...A Human being.
