Each element has a total of five runes.
Elemental runes (center) depend on the type of magic affinity the wielder has. It basically enhances the mage's control over his specific element.
Mind runes (top left) enable the magician to surpass the boundaries of their own mind.
Inner runes (top right) enhance a specific sense or enable the wielder to use specific properties of the element.
Outer runes (bottom right) utilize the elements in a specific purpose.
Runes of power (bottom left) enhance the wielder's abilities.
The type of runes a magic wielder can use depends on his affinity and his mana purity. Magicians with low mana purity cannot use runes of other elements, whereas those with higher mana purity can utilize runes of different elements on top of their own.
The average mage has up to three runes on top of their elemental rune. Good mages usually have up to five. Top tier mages can have up to nine.
