Stella set her packed lunch on the counter top. "I think I've got more cough drops in my room, Mum. Hold on, I'll get it for y-"
Euphemia held Stella's hand to stop her. "It's fine, dear. James already gave me some." she said, showing Stella a small bottle full of red cough drops. "and I already drank some this morning."
Relief washed over Stella. "Okay. I should get going." she says, fixing her white robe and grabbing her lunch again.
