{Y/n's POV}

         "...Huh. This is quite the place you've got here. Did you intentionally make it look gloomy and unbearable?" I asked.

         "Yes."

         "Wow. You've got poor taste haha," I responded, trying to get a reaction from him. His robotic sigh confirmed that I had succeeded.

         Finally, we made it to what I assume is his main workroom. He hovered over to one side of a table, expecting me to sit on the opposite side. I did so while observing a bunch of little pieces of technology around him.

         "What are those? Drawings? That's cute," I asked genuinely.

         "Tch. No, they are CARDS, idiot. Can't you tell? Have you never played a card game in your life?!" He sounded insulted.

         "Oh, no I couldn't tell. Of course I have played card games before, but I only like Uno, so don't even ask to play, robot." I rested my head on my fist, bored of the topic.

         "... Obviously I wasn't going to ask you. That would be dumb. Anyways, let us discuss work." He quickly switched the topic.

         'What a terrible liar...' I thought. "Alright, robot, what do you have in mind?"

         "Well, what is your skill set? I don't want you to do something that'll just destroy my work or waste my time altogether," he said with a serious tone.

        After some time, we had determined what I would be doing here: Whenever any of the bots need something that could use some nimble, human fingers, they'd call me over. I volunteered to organize things and clean (something that I enjoy so that'll be an easy pastime), and I also had the job of removing any plants that start growing on his island. This one, I was rather unhappy about. I love nature and try to leave it alone as much as possible. He clearly does not care though, so I don't have a choice.

         "Welp, guess I'll get started." With that, I got up from the table.

         "One more thing, organic. You cannot leave the property. You will live here now." He said this with a smug face. I was facing the other way, but I could feel it.

         "..."

{3rd Person POV}

         Y/n has slowly been getting used to living and working at the factory. She originally slept in one of the back storage rooms with nothing. However, she was eventually given some blankets and a pillow. P03 complied when they endlessly bothered him about needing food and water by the end of the first day. He routinely sent his bots to get some.

         You also managed to become decent friends with the Inspector and Dredger. The Inspector said it'd only be "friends" if she could win a fight against him which y/n happily accepted. You, uh, physically beat the shit out of him, not understanding what he meant. However, you reminded him that a fight is a fight and you had won. He respected her logic, so they formed a friendship. She became friends with the Dredger by just sitting around his station and watching. He initially ignored you, but occasionally would spark up some small conversations; he appreciates your company now.

         Y/n has also started to warm up to P03 and vice versa. You decided one day to go and clean out his whole room, which he was not thrilled about, and he tried to make you leave multiple times. You would just pick him up by his monitor and move him out of the way as if he weighed nothing. Of course, this pissed him off each time.

         However, once you were done, he found it much easier to find the stuff that he sometimes spends hours searching for. He didn't like that you cleaned the floor and dust, though, because it got rid of the eerie atmosphere. Y/n just convinced him that it gave off a creepy and "sterile" atmosphere. He liked that interpretation.

         Y/n mainly did it so she could just lay on the floor and bother him whenever she would get bored. In the beginning, he would tell you to get the hell out and throw various things at you until you left. However, over time, he stopped kicking you out. He started to like the attention and to his regret, he started to enjoy your presence.

         More recently, he started to give you more tasks around his room. Some important, some pointless. Like, why the hell did he want you to color-coordinate his box of cables? Oh well, y/n didn't question it.

         One day, he was passing by y/n's room and decided to peek in. He was shocked to see how you managed to transform it. There were paper flowers and stars hanging by strings from the ceiling, you had made some "cloud lights" by putting fluffy cotton onto lampshades, you had more blankets and pillows, and you managed to smuggle succulents in there.

         "What the hell, human? Why did you do this to your room? In MY factory? It looks so... organic and gross. Take it all out." He was irritated at the sight.

         "Uhhhhh no. I'd rather not. And blame your robots. They were quite quick to accept my request for the materials." You just sat there on your bed and closed your sketchbook. "Listen, I will take it out on one condition."

         "... And what might that be?" P03 asked curiously, with a hint of anger regarding the part about his robots.

         "You let me go home."
