Giant Money

When I use the term ''Giant Money'' I do not refer to large denominations such as the $100 bill, but rather large monuments of our coins. The Big Nickel in Sudbury Ontario is the most famous example, commemorating the nickel mines of the Greater Sudbury Area and the large coin itself resides on the grounds of Dynamic Earth, an earth sciences museum. If we drive further north, along the eastern coast of Lake Superior past Salut St Marie, we will arrive at Echo Bay (Echo, echo, echo.) where the Big Loonie resides, heading down to Campbellford we find the Big Toonie. Strangely the big dime, penny and quarter do not appear to exist.
