Splash!!!!! I hit the water and started to kick my legs. All my fear that I had had before vanished. It was a 2 length race in a 50 metre pool. yes, I was at the
Olympics. As I lifted up my arms and started to swim, I could vaguely hear the crowd cheering for me.
I could especially hear my team mate Percy Jackson, or maybe it was just that my hearing was fine tuned to hearing his angelic voice. as you may or may not have already guessed, I love Percy Jackson. but there is one huge problem, he has a wife and a kid on the way whom he already loves very much; and I also have no intention of breaking percy and his wife up because they are so in love.
I know you have all heard of those stories where the person says "I love him, but I will never break them up" and then breaks them up anyway, but I would never do that to Percy because he is such a good friend.
OMG! I just crashed into something really hard... oh wait that was the wall at the finish line!!! Wait, I had finished?!!?!?! Where did I come?
I looked up at the huge screen above me. Oh my God!!! My name was at the top. I had won!!!! I clung onto the wall, with my mouth agape. I heard screaming and then felt myself being pulled out of the water. I looked up and was greeted with those green eyes I loved and also loads of others. They were all screaming my name. Whoa....
I then felt myself being squished in a group hug... ouch!!!

"And the gold medal goes to Samantha Read." He put the shiny golden medal around my neck. It was surprisingly heavy. I took a deep breath and looked up towards my team mates and my family. Everyone was smiling at me, it made my heart melt.
Smiling the brightest was Percy. I smiled tearily back at him. He's so sweet. I then looked up at my dad, who is also my coach, and he had silent tears in his eyes, just like me.
Then the national anthem came on. I could feel all the cameras on me as the music boomed through the speakers. I suddenly felt under dressed in my baggy tracksuit. oh well, I would have a time to dress up later because of the celebration party, which was going to be held at Percy's house. I was so excited.

And breath Sam, I said to myself as I walked into Percy's house.
I was dressed in a blue dress with lace covering the top (pic at top) and some very light makeup, which my other girl teammates had done for me. I wasn't sure if I looked alright or not... I never really wear dresses.
The house was beautiful, and the architecture was amazing, I love architecture but I won't bore you with the details. As soon as I had finished admiring the architecture, I saw Annabeth (Percy's pregnant wife). She was smiling at me.
"Come on in," she said, "the parties just starting." I walked in a couple more paces and saw that the room was heaving with people. The room had a DJ's desk, multicoloured light going on everywhere and people dancing and talking everywhere. Whoa....
I walked over to the rest of my teammates, both girls and boys. I then saw the man of my heart walk in. he was wearing a tux and he looked very uncomfortable. poor percy. STOP IT Sam, you can't think like that, he is your friend, not boyfriend.
"Those who are not friends from camp or my swim team buddies, please leave now." About one-hundred people left (must be school friends or something) , leaving only about thirty of us still here. Everyone was still staring at Percy because he hasn't finished his announcement yet. percy cleared his throat,
"Okay guys. please sit in a circle for a collection of games: never have I ever, truth or dare and karaoke. we will start with never have I ever, also we will not use actual wine," two boys ( who looked a bit like twins, or at least brothers) booed, they must be his camp friends, "because otherwise we will all be pissed for the rest of it, and my Wise Girl is pregnant, so we will use really tangy lemon juice." Everyone cheered and started getting into a circle. one of the boys that had booed shouted,
"Who is gunna go first, perce?"
"Me, me, me," percy shouted in a really cute babyish voice, "I wanna go first cos its ma party baby! wooooo!" Um.... wow...?!?!
"Okay... Never have I ever had a crush on someone who is taken." I gulped and picked up a shot glass with the lemon juice in. everyone was staring at me.
"What... it's not like I broke them up." I said to them. I put my head back and swallowed the tangy liquid.
"Who was it?" Ask Percy. ohh percy, you are so oblivious.
"That wasn't the question was it, we are not playing truth or dare."
"Oh well, I will get you later." oh perce, how i wish you would.
