Kaeya banged on the door, yelling at Y/n to open up. "Fuck off!" Y/n groaned, feeling their head throb. "Y/n open the door! We need to talk!" Kaeya yelled. After 5 minutes of going back and forth like this, Y/n begrudgingly opened the door, immediately being met with a pair of arms pulling them in.
Kaeya wrapped his arms around Y/n tightly. "I'm....I'm glad you're safe...I don't know what I would've done if something had happened to you..." He mumbled. Y/n sighed and buried their head in his shoulder.
After a good few seconds of embracing, Kaeya was the first to pull away. "Can I come in?" He asked. "Sure." Y/n mumbled, stepping aside to let him in. Kaeya walked into Y/n's apartment. There was an awkward silence before Kaeya spoke up. "I'm sorry I didn't go." He said, looking anywhere but at Y/n.
"It's fine. Don't apologize." Y/n brushed off. "No...I mean, if I had been there, I would've been able to make sure you got home safe. But I didn't so I'm sorry." Kaeya said sternly, probably one of the few times Y/n had seen their friend so serious. "Like I said, it's fine. You're not my babysitter, it doesn't matter anymore anyways." Y/n said. "Still-"
"Kaeya, I said it's fine. If it'll make you feel better, you can go with us next time." Y/n said, rubbing their eyes as they felt their head throb even more. Kaeya nodded in acknowledgement. "Are you okay though? You look like you're in pain or something." He mumbled, walking closer to Y/n. "It's nothing I just...I have a headache is all." Kaeya remained silent and grabbed Y/n's hands, pulling them away so he could take a look himself. He grabbed Y/n's chin with a hand, tilting their head from left to right, inspecting and getting closer as he did so.
Y/n felt their face burn up, Kaeya's close proximity flustering them. "Your face feels a bit hot, maybe you have a fever." Kaeya mumbled, pulling away. Y/n hummed. "Come on, let's go to bed." "What? I'm fine-" "No you're not, Y/n," Kaeya glared playfully. "You're in no place to be up and walking. Go to bed, I'll take care of you." He said. "Don't you have a video to film today?" Y/n asked. "It can wait, you're more important." Kaeya smiled.
