the (H/C) girl stared at them in disbelief.

"did she actually ask him out?"  her thoughts wondered.

her anxiety was pooling, bubbling up to the surface.

But she wasn't worried for On-jo. She was worried for Su-hyeok.

The very thought of Su-hyeok liking On-jo was just.. weird.

It felt wrong.

Was she jealous? No. that cant be it. There's no way she could fall for someone that easily.

They barely speak, I mean its not like she falls for anyone who's nice to her, right?

...Right?

----------------------

She shook away the thoughts in her head, worried that they might become more than just simple thoughts.

"I cant let stupid things like love distract me. Especially when I don't even have a chance."

she reminded herself.

the same thing everyday.

Even if she didn't realize it, she was stopping herself from becoming braver; a better person in her eyes.

Su-hyeok saw something was bothering her, so he decided to go see what was wrong.

He gave her a light tap on the shoulder and spoke.

"Everything okay?"

"huh? oh, yeah."

"I'm going to go find Nam-ra, you guys seem like friends?"

"I guess you could say that"

"uh, so wanna come?"

"okay."

She got up from her seat and stood for a moment before trailing behind the dark-haired boy.

"god, that was awkward" she thought to herself.

But Su-hyeok had a different interpretation of their interaction.

The only thing he could think about is what he did wrong. Did he make her even more upset?

"Yo, I see Nam-ra up there. wanna catch up to her?" Y/N questioned.

Before Su-hyeok could respond, she was already sprinting, trying to catch up to one of her only "friends".

With Su-hyeok following close behind, Y/N came to an abrupt stop and almost made him crash into her.

"She's wearing earbuds." Y/N said, sounding overly dramatic.

"okay.. so tap on her shoulder or something and ask her to take them out."

"No. you do it."

"alright!" He laughed, visibly confused.

Nam-Ra felt a tap on her shoulder and looked to see Su-hyeok and Y/N.

"Earbuds, they're bad for your ears." He stated blankly while doing a motion for her to remove them.

She removed one and he started a conversation.

"Do you want to visit Hyeon-ju after school? I was thinking Y/N could come too."

"why?"

"You're classroom president."

"My mom made me classroom president by donating to the school. That's why no one considers me the classroom president. So why must I act like it?"

After hearing that he just smiled like an idiot. And It must have been contagious because so did Y/N.

"What?"

"We're just amazed, Nam-ra." I replied just loud enough for both of them to hear.

Its weird how you can just meet with someone and click with them.

Kind of like how I feel more comfortable around certain people, people like Nam-ra and Su-hyeok.

"yeah, I don't think we've ever heard you talk this much before." Su-hyeok added to my comment.

"I thought you were incapable of saying more than 5 words."

"Alright that's enough." she playfully glared, hoping she wasn't embarrassing herself.

"You too, actually. you don't normally talk this much either."

"oh, I guess I'm finally feeling more comfortable around you guys or something?"

She might have not noticed, but that made Su-hyeok happy.

Nam-ra just put her earbuds in and kept walking.

Su-hyeok facepalmed, looking hurt and embarrassed.

"don't worry, she's like that all the time." she tried to comfort.

"I just don't know how to talk to her."

"Trust me, no one does."

"But there has to be a way."

"look, we cant force her to open up. the most we can do is encourage her and wait."

"yeah, I guess you're right."
