They were flying outside of jade mountain

"Ask me what" Crow asked
"I was wondering if maybe you'd...." she trailed off
"I'd what?" Crow asked
Why in all three moon's did she trail off
"If you'd be my mate" Mesa asked
Crow looked taken a back
She was going to say no wasn't she
"Once you asked if we'd want to take a fly together I was going to use this time to ask the same thing" Crow told her
"I......I thought you were going to say you didn't want to" Mesa replied
"Mesa why would I ever not want to be with you?" Crow asked
"I don't know I was worried and I wasn't sure" Mesa answered
"I love you Mesa and don't ever forget that" Crow told her
"I won't I promise" Mesa replied and smiled
They still needed the mateing ceremony to make them true mates but it was good enough for now
