Was Kim Yerim trying to earn Lee Group's favor once again?

To Lisa, the rookie competition would be a trial. Although the contest was mainly to select a top model and fashion design was secondary, she thought that it would be good to get more experience since she lacked it.

Hence, Lisa entered the competition.

Since partners were determined by drawing lots, Jisoo went up and returned listlessly.

Lisa pulled her to sit down beside her. "Tell me, who's my partner?"

Jisoo looked at her bitterly before breaking down in tears. "Lili, I've wronged you!"

"Don't say that...." Lisa stared panicking when an idea suddenly occurred to her, and forced herself to ask, "Don't tell me....my partner is Ahn Hwasa"

Startled, Jisoo promptly stopped crying. "Wow, how did you know...."

Lisa felt her breath leave her lunges as she went blank.

Really....there's no escaping that woman.

Jungkook had told her that Ahn Hwasa wasn't a good person, and now Lisa would be partnered with her.

Then didn't mean....?

Lisa did her best to assure herself since being partners meant that they share a mutually beneficial relationship.

So, Ahn Hwasa wouldn't be up to no good....maybe?

At noon.

Jisoo said that she had another date with her handsome intern. She left, handbag in hand after checking that her reflection in the mirror was perfect.

Lisa herself was giving a draft a final check before leaving, only to run headlong into Ahn Hwasa who was coming in.

She is wearing a little black strapped thank top that exposes her navel and her prided curves, matched with black broken jeans over her long, beautiful legs. Her blond hair was tied into ponytail, and her mixed-blood features did not lose grace beneath her exquisite makeup.

"Lili, are you going out for lunch?" Ahn Hwasa asked mildly as she looked around at the office.

Lisa nodded. "Yes, Miss Ahn. May I ask what you're_"

Before she could finish, Ahn Hwasa had sat naturally on a chair like a returning guest, and gestured for Lisa to do the same. "Come, sit, I have something to talk to you about".

Lisa looked as she did so with disdain but did not show it, and smiled instead. "Miss Park, it's already lunch. Why don't we talk in the afternoon?"

"Oh, Come one" Hwasa pouted unhappily and shrugged. "We are partners now. Why do you have to be so formal? Call me Hwasa".

Lisa smiled on the surface. "Hwasa, why don't we talk later? You must be hungry too".

"That's true. I haven't had a good meal lately" Hwasa rubbed her belly. "Lili, I know a good steakhouse nearby. Let's go together!"

Lisa had no good reason to refuse, and was forced to pretend she liked it. "Okay".

Delighted, Hwasa got to her feet and held Lisa's arm intimately, who felt repulsed to that with someone unfamiliar.

She also started to think about what excuse she could use to refuses as they waited for the elevator.

After all, she intended to call Jisoo and told her there's a gas explosion at their house and her run here, faint footsteps could be heard behind them.

They turned at once to find Jungkook approaching at a steady pace.

"Jungkook!" Hwasa's eyes sparkled and she hurried to him, ready to throw herself into his arm.

Jungkook, however, evaded her unceremoniously and went straight to Lisa, wrapping his arms around her as if there was no one else around.

"I'm taking you to lunch".

Lisa promptly gave him a look and tried to get away, but Jungkook stared at her impassively, with his arms becoming firmer around her.

Hwas's  faced dropped at their intimacy and turned pale as she pointed at them in disbelief.

"You....You two....Lili....You and Jungkook...." Unable to restrain herself, Hwasa looked like she would soon burst in tears. "Don't you know that Jungkook is mine?! But you...."

Despite stunned, Lisa abruptly pushed Jungkook away and held Hwasa's hand as she tried to explain apologetically and panickily. "Hwasa, listen to me....I didn't know about you and Jungkook! To tell the truth, he is the father of my son".

"NO!" Crumbling, Hwasa held her head. "Lisa, I thought you're my bestie but you actually took the man I love the most, right in front of me! I would never forgive you!"

With that, Hwasa turned and ran off, devastated.

At the same time, Lisa's apologetic look immediately faded as she sighed in relief, and thought that her acting was rather up to standard.

She turned and gave Jungkook a look. "How was it?"

He smiled. "Not bad".

The little woman surprise him every time.

Meanwhile, Hwasa had continued running for quite a while.

She eventually stopped, feeling foiled because Lisa was not chasing after her.

She had planned to pretend that she knew nothing, becoming Lisa's friend and then stumbling upon the truth of Lisa's relationship with Jungkook. That way, she could play the part of a poor, betrayed friend and make Lisa feel guilty.

She just did not expect that Lisa wouldn't chase after her.

Hence, as Hwasa remembered how intimate they were just now, she was beside herself with frustration.

Jungkook brought Lisa to a restaurant.

When the doors opened, the fragrance of Jasmines wafted to the nose, refreshing the mind.

The waiter very respectfully led them to a window seat. As Lisa took hers she looked around to find no one else around at all, and that it was rather awkwardly silent.

"Why is there just the two of us?" She asked softly.

After all, there's no way others wouldn't come to luxury restaurant like this one.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was pouring her red wine.

"I booked the whole place", he then calmly replied.

"...."

RICH!

"It's just lunch. Why are you looking the whole place for?"

Jungkook leaned backwards on his chair lazily, held the champagne glass between his fingers and shook it while hit thin lips spoke light and arrogantly. "I'm rich".

"...."

'Right, you're rich, you're the boss'.

Soon, lunch was served, but each dish was as exquisite as it was good looking that Lisa was not to willing to eat upper-class venues like this one really wasn't her thing.

Moreover, she should be coming here in an evening gown, but now she was here in her working attire, her clothes wrinkled and her hair messy, which ruined the sights a little.

Opposite her, Jungkook had finished cutting a steak and passed it to her, before nonchalantly asking, "When are you doing to follow me to register our marriage?"

Lisa paused in the middle of chewing, while Jungkook watched her with a clever sparkle in his dark gaze. "You don't have the right to refuse".

If she did, the court summons would reach her tomorrow!
