'It's hard to breathe, why is it so hard to breathe?' A broken sob came out as I slapped my hands over my mouth trying to keep the noise down
'I'm sorry I'm so sorry if only I listen' the hot tears ran down my face, my body cooling up more
Heavy footsteps making their way up the stairs, seemingly as if they want me to hear them, taunting me even
I held my breath for a moment before letting a shaky exhale out
'I'm so sorry mum, N-' the footsteps grew closer stopping at my door
I looked out of the little door under my desk after hearing a creak at the door,
Gulping down as much mucus as possible as I see the fancy boots make their way over to the closet thrusting it open and then shuffling through the clothes
Letting the clothes along with the hanger fall to the ground before making their way over to my bed before kneeling and looking under
'Why didn't I run while I had the chance, stupid I'm so. fucking stupid ' a loud shaky breathe came out
The person snapped their head in my direction assuming seeing the slightly ajar door under my desk
A soft chuckle almost as if he was taunting me
'I'm sorry I didn't keep my promise mum ' a sob let out
How did I even get myself into this mess? Oh... Yeah
The day it fucking began, how naive was I how did I not see the clear red flags
How didn't I notice the eyes watching me?
I know I'm gonna die.
I can see my life flash before my eyes as he jerked open the door and reached his hand out towards me, closing my eyes

"[Y/n] dear can you pick up the crate and carry it to those shelves, while your there can you put the stuff in the crate onto said shelves?" Alexis asked her voice was steady and stern but had a sweet touch to it
"Sure thing Alex," I said my sheep ears perked up before going down picking the box up filled with books before going to a shelf and putting them in Alphabetical order before going back to the front where she was.

Working as a librarian had its perks and downfalls
The perks, are you don't have many people in here aside from some who like to read

The day was filled with chit chats some people stopping by with either browsing then leaving or browsing and borrowing/buying a book some stayed to read and some left with their books
"Oh yeah Alexis tell the boss I'm not gonna be here for a few months," I said lightly hitting her shoulder
"Why?" She looked at me taking her eyes away from the book she was focused on
"Well what I hear is that there's an ancient city underground somewhere with books as far as the eye can see, enchanted books " I whispered putting my hand on the right side of my mouth
Making it a little loud for her to hear
"You believe in that crap, okay then " her expression deadpanned "ouch damn zaddy-" she slapped her hand over my mouth eye twitching in irritation
"You can click out early, shoo get away from me" she let go of my mouth before pushing me to the door and rolling her eyes "ayo no work, I ain't complaining," I said chuckling while opening the door
I heard a scoff as the door closed
Walking down the familiar path to the little cottage near the town
I walked up to the door pushing it open and letting a gulp of air in before yelling out a greeting to my mother
She walked out of the kitchen drying her hands on a hand towel confusion written on her face, before she could question me I answered first
"I got off work early, I'm gonna be gone for a while are you cool with that?" I gave her a peck on the cheek before jogging my room on the right
"Yep be safe though" she replied before walking to what she was doing before
I slowed the jogging to a walk when Infront of my door I grabbed the knob and twisted it hearing a click before pushing it off
It was a mess not messy where you can't see the floor but messy as in stuff it's not set up properly
The bag was already packed laying on my bed a separate bag was filled with food that could probably last month's or even a year like canned foods dry foods
A grin crossed my face 'oh this is gonna be fun I grabbed the bags swing one over my shoulder while holding the other
Grabbing a small dagger and put it in my back pocket
'This is gonna be Hella fun' I closed the door behind me leading me to the hallway
Made my way to the lounge room, and then went to the door after giving my cat a goodbye kiss
"BYE MA," I said before rushing out walking out to the horse stable
I walked down the path opposite the small village I grew up in passing a few stray houses on my way out

'yep that's how it all started, why was I wanting adventure so much, it was so peaceful in the town. Why did I leave?' you shut your eyes in hopes of the person in Infront of you to suddenly disappear
As you felt a hand stroke your cheek in a soothing manner before the person let a laugh out
"Why are you so scared? Is it because I killed them? They were getting in the way of us, I was doing what's best for our relationship darling" they clicked their tongue
'i wish I could reverse Time so badly right now '
