where eddie munson has a secret fling with hawkins beloved gracie hopper; a coping mechanism for her fathers death. during the span of the seven month fling he began to grow strong heavy feelings for her. having to hide the disappointment when she acts as if nothing is happening between them when they walk past each other in school. but he was determined to be something more than a fling. yet venca ruined his plans and now he was to run for his life. he should just keep driving.
GRACIE HOPPER, a girl living with steve harrington after her fathers passing. a once talkative-energetic and fun girl now one who's quiet and labeled as fragile. everywhere she goes there's people asking if she's okay or watching her waiting for her to break. after witnessing the death of her boyfriend, billy hargrove, and right after receiving the the news of her father's death she was different.
people wanted to label her as a freak but steve didn't allow that. he was put under a small role of guardianship by the school after the passing of jim hopper. but steve wasn't always the biggest help when she'd break down at night. so after listening around school she found out eddie munson sold drugs and she'd do anything to stop hearing the voices. and so she went to his trailer, and there was a drug deal gone right. that's how she started her fling.
EDDIE MUNSON, a older boy living in a trailer park in the lower income side of hawkins. he was a freak to anyone who watched him go by. he was loud, playful, sarcastic, and imaginative. he had flunked a couple of times during his senior years of high school but he was determined to graduate as class of '86. he wasn't the most loved person at hawkins high but he had his small group of friends and a tiny drug dealing business to a few people.
eddie wasn't blind, he always saw her in the halls, walking with her head down low and not putting much effort into her attire like the other girls. but he didn't care about all that because he was still drawn to her, infact he liked her even more for that. yet she'd never notice him. and that was why he was surprised to hear gracie hopper knocking at the walls of his thoughts begging for drugs. it was supposed to be a simple drug deal, in and out. but it ended differently. he'd never expected to end the night with gracie hopper between his sheets, arm laced over his bare body. that's how he started his fling
