Bessie told me that we're gonna have some visitors that'll stay few weeks. She informed that it's her sister, aunt Lee and her kids, Hank and Charlie. I hear something near my room, I put down the bowl of potato chips, walk over to my window and peak through the curtains to see an older boy jamming and a younger one with glasses looking nervous or just reading his book

Must be the kids.

I than see a old lady going to the car and scolding the older boy who's guessing is aunt Lee, I hear a knock on my door so I go over to it and open it

" Missy, come on, Hank and Charlie are in the car" Bessie smiles at me

I nodded and we both go out to greet them with Ruth

" you get out here right now!" we hear aunt Lee scolded her older son as Bessie and I walk out and approached them, " I'm warning you! You get outta the car right now! Do you hear me?"

Bessie and I walk to the opposite window that aunt Lee is, Bessie knock on the window and I also leaned closer to see him better. The older one faces us and my stomach began feeling funny, he eye me up and down before stopping the radio and lower the window

" hi, I'm your aunt Bessie and this is my daughter, Missy, who you never laid eyes on" Bessie introduced cheerfully, " and I don't care how grown-up you are, I except a big fat hug"

I waved at him when I hear my name, I touched my necklace when he comes out and hugs my mom, he walks towards me and bend down to hug me, I hesitate for a second but hug back

" oh no, you must be Charlie!" I hear my mom said which made us two pull away and turn to the kid with the glasses that I'm guessing is Charlie and the one I'd just hugged is Hank, " well, hi!"

Charlie came out and Bessie and I hug him

" look who's here!" we turn around to see Ruth arrived

" Hank, Charlie, this is your Aunt Ruth, come on, say hello" Aunt Lee introduced as pointing to her

We walk over to Ruth

" alright, now which of you handsome boys is in the mental institution?" Ruth asked the sons

Charlie pointed at Hank who got smacked on the head lightly, I crack a smile of that though

" give me a hug!" Ruth smiles at Hank and they both hug but suddenly Ruth screamed

" you okay, auntie Ruth?" I asked her concerned, she stood straight up and nodded that she's okay

That was odd.

" well, would you all like to see dad?" Bessie changed the subject, " I know he's so excited about meeting everybody"

" yeah, sure" Aunt Lee answers as we headed in to see him

" let me get him ready, I know he wants to make a good impression" Bessie said

" doesn't anybody?" I joked, we headed in where uncle Marvin is, he's on a bed because he's getting old, too old to walk so he needs to relax his body, Marvin opens his eyes to see our cousins but turns to Bessie and I for some reason

" well dad?" Bessie turns uncle Marvin's head to our cousins, " this is Lee, your daughter and there's Charlie right there, you see him? Yeah! And, and, Hank!"

I go over to my uncle and take his hand

" your grandsons" I added, I look back at them to see Hank smiling at my uncle

Bessie and I give uncle Marvin personal space, I see Aunt Lee hits Hank's back like she wants him to do something

" hi" Hank greeted as he tries to shake his hand but my uncle freaked out

" it's okay, uncle Marvin!" I assured him as I take his hand into mine

" Hank didn't mean anything" Bessie tells him

" I didn't mean to do--"

" he's just not used to a lot of people" I informed my cousins

" what did you do?" Aunt Lee asked Hank

" I didn't do anything" Hank answers, " I just said hello"

" maybe we should just clear out of here" Aunt Lee suggested

Charlie came closer to Marvin and put his hand on him, bad mistake because uncle Marvin grab his hand which made Charlie scream, I run over to Charlie and pull him away from my uncle as everyone chattering and gasping

" just give him a second! Lee?" Bessie asked her sister

I sigh

It's later of the day and we're in the living room, I'm sitting at a couch next to my mom, Hank sits on a comefy chair between the two couches, Charlie is reading his book on the coffee table and Aunt Lee sitting the other couch, I look over my shoulder to see Hank got out a cigarette box but Aunt Lee grabs it from him and put the cigarettes beside her instead. Hank than took a chip on in the bowl that is on the coffee table

" hey, did your aunt Bessie and Missy offer you a chip yet?" Aunt Lee asked her son which made him stop

" oh well, that's what they're for" Bessie replied

" yeah, but he has to wait to be asked" Aunt Lee informed us, " put the chip back, Hank"

I lay my head on Bessie's shoulder when Aunt Lee kept telling him to put it back, I guess she couldn't take it anymore and grab the chip out of his hands and put it back in the bowl

" Lee, I put them out here for the kids" Bessie tells her

" you two have to understand, he had to wait to be asked" Aunt Lee said

I bit my lips and take the bowl and look at Hank

" Hank, would you like a chip?" I asked him nicely

" no, thank you, Missy, not right now" Hank denied

I put the bowl down then

" Missy offer you a chip, now the polite thing to do would be to take one" Aunt Lee tells him

I move the bowl closer to him

" you know what? I don't want a chip right now" Hank said but little more irritated

" eat or no Disney World" Aunt Lee said, trying to be calm

" I could give a fuck about Disney World!" Hank suddenly snapped

I bit my lips and look down at my lap

" that's it, get out!" Aunt Lee stood up and Hank left, " I don't care where, just so I can't see you!"

I hear the door slammed which made me turn to it

" Charlie, would you like a chip?" I hear my mom asked him

I look back at them

" yeah, go ahead honey, if you want one" Aunt Lee said

" oh, take a bunch" Bessie smiles at Charlie

Charlie took almost a hand full

" not too many, you don't want to ruin your supper" Aunt Lee tells him, he than just took one chip and eats it, " and don't get any crumbs on your aunts nice, clean floor"

I exhaled and turn my head back to the door Hank went out
