It's night time of the following day, my body wants to stay up so I walk out to my room and outisde to see Hank with some tools in a box

" hm, not used to finding somebody else out here" I joked as I approached him and sit down on a chair near Hank

" sorry, want me to go inside?" Hank questioned me

" no" I answers, " unless, are you not supposed to be out here? Will your mother care?"

" she's asleep" Hank informed

" I don't see any harm in it" I shrugged, " we're all really glad you're here"

" yeah, we should do it again in like another seventeen years" Hank said sarcasticly

" to tell you the truth, I don't think your mom and mine haven't always gotten along" I honestly said

" uh-huh"

I look down at my hands

" this town and my school is like hell" I suddenly say, " people in the streets are like drunk"

" so, do you ever wish you just die?" Hank asked

" don't say that!" I denied, " sure, it's hell, but sure it'll get better"

" why not?" Hank asked

" cause... It's rude" I answers

" you know, I haven't made up my mind about gettin' tested yet" Hank changed the subject

That's why their here?.

" okay" I nodded, I eye on his tools, " what are you doing with those tools?"

" oh, I was just lookin' at 'em, I'll put 'em back" Hank answers

" I didn't think you were gonna steal 'em, Hank" I smile at him, " you can have 'em if you want"

" really?" Hank asked unsure, " you're just gonna give 'em to me?"

" sure I'm sure!" I answers, " why not?"

" wow, these are really cool tools" Hank looks at them

" yeah, they were your grand dad's" I informed, " I think he'd like you to have them"

" the hospitalsl probably won't let me keep them anyway" Hank said sadly

" well, you're not going to be in there forever" I replied

" when I go back, they're going to move me into a place for adults" Hank explained

" why?" I asked curiously

" I turn eighteen in like three weeks" Hank answers

" oh!"I grinned, " happy birthday!"

" you know, if the fire hadn't spread up the street, it wouldn't be such a big deal" Hank shrugged, " but not they want to make sure I'm not some sort of a threat"
