I'm getting the wedding of my dreams today.

I never thought that this day would come but it's here. I'm marrying the man of my dreams and I couldn't be happier.

As soon as I told Leo that I was ready to have our wedding, he hired a wedding planner and within a few weeks and lots of signed checks, we were putting on the event of our lives.

"You look beautiful peanut," my mom says as she gets a first look at me.

Valdrin Sahiti made my off-the-shoulder princess gown, with a slit on my right thigh, and a long train that attaches at the waistband. I also have opera gloves that stop past my elbows. For jewelry, my husband-to-be gifted me a beautiful diamond necklace with a sapphire as my 'something blue, matching diamond earrings, and a bracelet over the gloves. My makeup is natural, and I top it all off with a pair of Mach & Mach bow heels.

"Thank you, mama," I compliment her, and Leo's dad walks in soon after with Xavier and Josh. Everyone looks sharp in their suits.

"Wow," they exclaim at the same time and I let out a nervous giggle.

"You look so beautiful little sister," Xavier says and hugs me. He hands me a bouquet of fresh flowers and I smile. "Your 'something new' from us," he says. "I planted these in the backyard when you and Leo started dating because I had a feeling that you would get married, and we just picked them out for you." He kisses me on the cheek and I feel tears coming on.

That is incredibly thoughtful.

"Also since you don't have a favorite flower, they're irises," Josh adds and I give them both a hug.

"Awww, that is so sweet," I say and my heart fills with warmth. "The flowers are beautiful." They are the best big brothers that a girl could ever ask for.

After Xavier and Josh step aside, Leo's dad takes their places and pulls out a diamond tiara from a box.

"Your 'something old' is from Leo's mom and me. It's the same one she wore on our wedding day," he says and I definitely want to cry. He places on my loose bun and kisses me on the cheek too. "Even though she's not here, I know she'd love you the way I do. I couldn't have asked for a better daughter-in-law."

This is what family is supposed to be like.

"Oh thank you so much," I say with tears prickling my eyes. I don't want to ruin my makeup but I'm also very emotional.

"Something borrowed is from me," my mom speaks up and she attaches a veil to the back of my tiara.

"It was your grandmother's and she made me promise that you would wear it on your wedding day," she reveals and I'm definitely crying now.

"Oh don't cry," everyone says in unison and pulls me into a group hug.

"Today is perfect," I laugh with a sob. "It's everything I dreamed of as a little girl and so much more."

"You deserve it," my mom says and the makeup artist cleans up my makeup. "I'm gonna go check on him," she says referring to Leo because she's walking him down the aisle.

"We'll see you out there boo," Josh says and hugs me again. "I'm so happy for you," he says squeezing me a little not knowing that I'm pregnant.

Leo and I decided to tell everyone the baby news at the reception and have the honeymoon after I give birth. I don't want to be pregnant during our honeymoon.
