Eleanor Ryan White did not believe in love.

She had been raised by two successful parents who loved her and cherished her, however, that picture-perfect dream vanished when they got in a car accident and her mother died. Eleanor remembers staring at the lifeless body of her mother from the backseat as a dull flickering of flames engulfed the vehicle as her father wept in front of her.

The same man who married again a week later, before her mother was even in the ground. The man who took the wedding ring off his dead wife's finger at her funeral. Before she could even blink her father and she moved across the country to Fabula.

Within a month, Eleanor's life had completely changed. Her mother was dead, but now her aunt was her stepmother, her cousins were now her stepsisters, and she was in brand new neighborhood, in a brand new town. So, she decided to use a brand new name.

Well, not a new name, just a different one—so she could separate her old life from her new one, well that was until she met a very attractive boy in a very unattractive situation.
