"You see the politicians in there?" My coworker Cara said. I looked over at her from my computer and smiled.

She recently dyed the tips of her hair a pastel pink and it looks so cute with her light brown hair. Maybe I should dye my hair.

"What?" At work, we just have to set up chairs and tables. A lot of just sitting down and waiting for events to finish, so I just do my homework in the meanwhile.

"There's like a bunch of politicians here. One of them is cute." She joked and looked over at my computer. "You're doing homework?"

"Yep. I'm trying to distract myself from one of my most embarrassing moments of my life." I joked but was being dead serious. At least today I work and then have waterpolo later and smoking with Kylie after. She has to rant to me about this guy she's talking to.

"What happened? The most embarrassing moment of my life was when I accidentally sat on my grandma's urn in front of my grandpa and he hated me ever since. I told him it was an accident, but," she shrugged her shoulders making me laugh. My other coworker Jacob was sitting in the other desk, he turned around to laugh at what she said.

"How do you not see her urn?" He asked laughing, he's pretty interesting. He seems mean when you first meet him but after being together for hours on end, he's really nice. And he has a lip piercing.

"Well, I was staying over to take care of him and I didn't know he liked to have her urn next to him when he watches tv. And bam! I sat on it. Thank god it didn't break, but now my favorite leggings have some of my grandmas ashes on it." She said shaking her head before turning back to me. "Spill, if you want. But keep in mind we have nothing else to do until like 7pm."

"Well, I like this guy, and I came to realize that like the other day. And then I thought he liked me back, but then he didn't really say anything when one of his friends had called me his girl. Like, I don't even know how to explain it. But he kinda treated me like a friend, not like he liked me or anything." I explained briefly, I could feel my heart sinking to my feet at the memory.

"Well, what did you expect him to say?" Jacob asked turning around in his chair, another coworker walked in with a plastic bag of food he got from the market downstairs.

"What are we talking about?" Damon asked sitting down at the circle table we were at. His work uniform was almost completely unbuttoned.

"Valeria is having boy problems." Jacob summarized. "As I was saying, maybe he doesn't feel ready to express how he feels. Has he been cheated on before?"

"Shit, yah. After my guy girlfriend of three years cheated on me, I vowed to never trust women that easily again. I loved her, but she cheated on me for like two for the three years." Damon said eating his fruits. "That shit messed me up."

"I mean, he hasn't really said anything like that." I don't even know his dating history. Has he dated anyone? I don't even know much about this guy.

"Does he have social media? We can check." Cara said, turning her laptop around. "Or whats his name?"

"Alexander, I'm spacing on his last name, but his middle name is like Cornelius." I said and watched as she typed it in. "I'm not sure what results you're going to get, I already searched him up-"

"He used to date this super model!" She exclaimed turning her computer around to show us. The girl had long blond hair and was as skinny as a stick. I wonder if this was before or after his parents died. "Damn, he's been spotted with a lot of people. After his parents passed, he kind of went silent. Apparently he's supposed to go to this gala on Sunday for some whale conservation charity his family owns."
