This chapter is going to me little stories of there life together before the cheating.

1997
Addison was heavily pregnant with their first child, a baby girl. She was 2 weeks overdue and on bed rest, Derek was at her beck and call giving her foot rubs, water, making sure she took her prenatal vitamins. He was her person.
"What are we going to name her?" Addison said snapping Derek out of the book he was reading next to her, she was rubbing her stomach, "I hadn't thought about that." He said closing it and looking over at his wife, "I know my mother wants her to be something after her mother but I don't want to put that pressure on our child to be like my grandmother." Derek grabbed his wife's hand, "hey, we still have time." He said. Addison felt a sharp pain in her stomach and felt liquid in between her legs. "Or we don't." She said laughing at her husband. His face dropped, "Addison, your in labor. This is happening." He said in shock. She squeezed his hand, "this is happening."

"Come on one more. You can do it honey." Addison squeezed Derek's hand, "I can't do it, it's to hard." "You have to." "I'm right here."
"Mrs. Shepard, I can see your daughters head. One more big push and she'll be in your arms." Her doctor spoke.
Addison pushed as hard as she could until she heard it, the sound of her daughter crying. Tears streamed down Addisons face as her daughter was placed on her chest. "Derek."
"We did it."
"Derek I want you to choose her name."
Derek looked into his wife's eyes,
"Hello Elizabeth."

1998
Addison and Derek where shopping in the grocery store, Eliza holding Derek's hand walking slowly next to Addison who had the shopping cart, "babe I'm gonna run and grab cereal I'll be right back." He said letting go of Eliza's hand and walking away to the other aisle. It took Eliza a second to process that her daddy left but when she did she lost it. She screamed at the top of her lungs, Addison whipped around scooping up her daughter, "darling, what's wrong."
Eliza was sobbing, "DADDY." She screamed. She was trying to wriggle out of her mothers arms, Derek came bolting around the corner, "what happened." He ran over to his wife and daughter and pulled her into his arms, "one minute she was fine then the next she was screaming bloody murder." Once Eliza was in Derek's arms she stopped crying. "Derek, she wanted you." She rubbed her stomach, it pained Addison to see that her only child always chose her husband over her, she just hoped the next one wouldn't.

1999
Their second child had recently been born, a tiny, 6 pound 4 ounce, little girl. Lillian they called her, after Addison's grandmother. After Bizzy had found out that they didn't name their first child after her mother she was furious. As much as Addison despised the name she loved her daughter. Unlike her sister, Lilly only wanted to be with Addison. She cried whenever Addison wasn't holding her, which as difficult as it was to get work done, Addison loved her daughter.

2003
"Wiza wait for me." Lilly called as her big sister ran in front of her. Despite the fact that they both loved different parents the love that these girls shared was unmatched.
Addison and Derek where sitting on a picnic blanket together watching their daughters play. Eliza came running over and leaped into her daddy's arms, a few minutes later Lilly came running over but instead of accepting Addisons open arms she sat down, huffed, crossed her arms and started to pout. "Lilly, darling what's wrong." Her mother asked. Addison looked at Derek as they both tried not to laugh at the tantrum their daughter was throwing. "Wiza wouldn't wait for me." She said tearing rolling down her warm pink cheeks. "Well that's because we where having a race Lilly, duh." Eliza said turning away from her fathers chest to respond to her sister. Addison grabbed Lilly by her waist and started tickling her. "Oh no the tickle monster got Lilly." Addison said as she watched her daughter squeal and laugh. "Mommy no. Hahahahah. Mommy." Lilly said in between breathes. "Oh no Eliza I think the tickle monster....GOT YOU TO." Derek said as he tickled his eldest daughter to death.
The girls squealed and laughed until their parents finally gave up. A strong breeze came over the park and Lilly snuggled close to her mothers chest, Addison noticed her daughter and wrapped part of her shawl around the tiny girl. Derek grabbed one of the blankets from the basket and used it to cover up all four of them. Addison with her head on his shoulder, Eliza on his chest. And Lilly on her mothers.
Soon both girls where fast asleep, "how did we ever get so lucky?" Addison asked her husband as she ran her hand through her daughters hair. Derek looked down at their other daughter, "I don't know."

2006
Eliza stood with her arm around Lilly as the two girls watched their parents scream at each other. They had just gotten back from their dad picking them up at school.
"Stay here." He instructed as he slowly went up the stairs. They heard loud yelling and a women screaming. They stood at the end of the stairwell watching as their dad came down with a handful of her clothes and belongings. "Your leaving Addison." He said opening the door, the rain was coming down outside loud and heavy. The two girls stood, scared and teary eyed watching there parents fight. "I'm not going anywhere." She said. "Yes you are." "Not without my children" She ran over in front of her children. "Lilly, do you want to go with mommy?" "No I want to stay wif Eliza." Lilly said tears streaming down her face. Addison picked up her daughter. "NO DADDY." Lilly screamed. Addison made a move for the door but before she could close it Derek grabbed Lilly from her arms. Eliza was hiding behind his leg, Lilly sobbed into his chest. "Addison look what you've done." He said motioning to his children. Then he slammed the door and slowly rocked Lilly. "Eliza go upstairs to your room." He said softly. Lilly had fallen asleep in her fathers arms, Addison stood out banging on the door in the pouring rain. "Derek please."
"You can't throw away our family"
"It was a mistake."
Derek finally snapped, he opened the door.
"You know what Addison, I'm done. You can stay. I'll go." He passed Lilly over to Addison and ran upstairs to gather his things.

Eliza heard a lot of moving around so she opened her door and there was her dad arms full of his stuff about to go downstairs. He locked eyes with the tiny girl. Eliza ran over to him, he embraced the tiny girl for the last time. "Eliza you be good and take care of yourself and Lilly for me ok"
"Where are you going daddy."
He pulled away with tears in his eyes.
"I'm going to go away for a while, ok." He said trying to soothe his daughter.
"When will you be back daddy?" She asked hopeful.
"Soon baby soon." He said as his voice cracked. Eliza stood at the top of the staircase watching as her father slammed the door leaving her mother in tears with her sleeping little sister in her arms.
Eliza didn't know what had just happened.
