Today was Eliza's 9th birthday. Addison had taken the day off and was setting up unicorn decorations all around the house. Derek said that he'd be there, for Eliza so she was bouncing off the walls with excitement. "Eliza darling. Will you go upstairs and check on Lilly?" Addison asked her daughter. Lilly told Addison she needed to get ready by her self today because she's a "big girl" now, "sure mom." Eliza said running up the stairs calling her sisters.

Someone cleared their throat. Addison turned and met cold dark eyes. "Bizzy, I uh didn't know that you where coming." Addison met her mothers eyes. "Hello Addison, I wanted to see Lillian, I haven't seen her since she was 4." She had a small cleanly wrapped gift in her hands. Addison dusted off her blouse and motioned her mom to step further into the house. "I see you've been busy. Putting up unicorn decorations and all." Bizzy looked around distastefully at the decorations lining the walls. "It's what Eliza wanted." "Yes I got that Addison."
Addison breathed in. "You can put your gift on the table." Addison said motioning towards a small table in the corner. Bizzy did as followed, "make me a martini would you." Bizzy said sitting down in an arm chair. Addison sighed and went to the kitchen. All of a sudden she heard tiny feet running down the stairs, "grandma." Lilly rushed over to Bizzy. She was wearing a baby pink sundress and white flats. "Hello Lillian darling." Bizzy had always liked Lillian because she had her mothers name and because she looked exactly like a Forbes Montgomery while Eliza looked like a Shepard. "I missed you grammy." Lilly said sitting on Bizzy's lap, Bizzy ran her fingers through Lilly's hair. "Beautiful." She said. Addison came back in and put her mother's drink on the table. "Lilly where's Eliza?" Addison asked rubbing her daughters shoulder. "She's upstairs in her room." Lilly said back to her mother. Addison went upstairs to check on her eldest daughter.

Eliza turned her head at the knock on the door. "Come in." Addison peeped the door open and saw her daughter sitting on the bench looking out the window. "Eliza the party's starting soon, your friends will be here soon." She said walking over and sitting next to her daughter. Eliza let out a sigh, "what's wrong honey?" Addison asked running her hands through Eliza's hair. "What if he doesn't come mom." She said turning to face her mom. "Honey I can't make any promises but I hope he will." She said. "I just wanted to see him again." She said looking at her mom. Addison pulled the girl into her chest, "even if he doesn't come we can still have fun. Ok, I promise." She said. "Ok mom. I love you." Eliza said into her mothers blouse. "Now let's go. I hear people downstairs." Addison said pulling her daughter downstairs.

Everyone was there, all of Eliza's school friends, her New York friends, Richard and Adele, Uncle Weis and Auntie Savv, and even Derek's mother and sisters. Everyone but Derek. All of a sudden Addison felt small hands wrap around her legs, she looked down and it was Lilly. She smiled and picked her daughter up, Lilly wrapped her arms around Addisons neck and yawned. "Long day princess?" Addison asked. "Being a little sister is tiring." Lilly said. Addison chuckled. Addison felt cold air move near her, she turned, "Bizzy." Addison said. "Addison. Lillian." She said looking at the two. "Hi grandma." Lilly said picking her head up from Addisons chest. Bizzy took the chance to re-adjust Lilly's pigtails to look neat again. "I'm going to head out." She said turning to face Addison. "Oh um well. Thank you for coming. It meant a lot. To all of us." Addison said motioning towards the almost asleep girl in her arms. "Yes. I will see you soon Addison." She said slightly smiling at her daughter. "Bye grandma." Lilly said waving to Bizzy as she walked away. But Addison felt Lilly freeze so she turned to see what her 6 year old was looking at. Their he was, bags under his eyes and a messily wrapped present in his hands. "Daddy." Lilly said. Derek walked over to Addison. "You came." She said. "Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world." Derek said. Addison moved to the side and looked at Eliza, Eliza looked at her mother than looked who was standing next to her. She ran over to him. "Hi baby." He said enveloping her in his arms. "You came." She said into his jacket. "Of course. I'm sorry I'm late." He said. "It's ok." He put her down. "Come on." She said dragging him away. He flashed a smile towards Addison as the 9 year old girl pulled him away. Addison watched as she showed him all of the gifts she'd gotten and watched as her face lit up when she opened his. It was a gorgeous locket. He clasped it around her neck and she jumped into his arms. Addison smiled rocking her sleeping daughter in her arms.

AUTHORS NOTE
I know my time lines aren't matching up because Eliza as born in 1997 and where I left off with a time date it was 2005 so that would make her 8 and turning 9 in 2006.
Her birthday is May 3, 1997
And Lilly's is July 1, 1999

So I'm going to change it so that Addison came to Seattle in spring 2006 not fall 2005 like in the show. Just so you guys know why it's different. Plus sorry if I'm making them grow up quickly it's because I have better chapters of when their older!!
