Chapter Two

I jolted up and looked around me realizing it was just a nightmare. I saw it was already five. I took a shower in the small bathroom Alby had there

Once I was done I changed into some black jeans, a crop top, a hoodie, and my boots.

I went to the front and saw it was raining outside. Alby came down and I gave him the keys back.

"We should make you a spare key," he said

"Nah. I have to go home. I'll see you later," I said and went to the door

"May," Alby called out and I looked at him "Be careful on the road okay,"

I smiled for a second and nodded my head before rushing to my jeep. I drove home and went inside and saw dad's bags

"Dad!?" I yelled out still looking around.

He came down smiling and made his way toward me before embracing me in a tight hug

"Your home," he said and kissed my head

"What's going on?" I asked

"I have a surprise for you," he said

"Okay, what?" I asked

He stepped away and I saw Blake standing at the kitchen door

"Hey sis," he said

"Your back!" I yelled and hugged him

"Yep but we can catch up after school," he said and kissed my head before pushing me out the door

I laughed and went to my jeep and drove to school. When I got there I went straight to my first class not worrying about the rain

Jordan suddenly appeared out of nowhere and kissed me in the rain

"Hey," he said smiling down at me

"Hey what are you doing here?" I asked

"Surprising my girl," he said

I kissed him again. The bell rang and I had to go. He grabbed my waist and said, "I'll see you after school,"

I kissed him and ran to class. When I entered the classroom Mr Harrison just gave me a look.

I went to the back and sat near the window. Just as I sat down Cole and two of the other boys came in

Cole came to sit next to me while the guys sat in front of us

"Hey, dad told me to give this to you," Cole said not caring about Mr Harris talking

I looked down and saw it was three keys and a remote. I gave him a confused look and he said, "It's for our house. The remote to the gate and the keys to the back, front, and side door,"

"Thanks but no thanks," I said and started working on my assignment

In the corner of my eye, I saw Cole contact the remote to my car keys. I ignored it and went on with my day.

After my first three classes, it was lunch. I took that time to go to all my classes and hand in all the assignments we had due.

When I gave my last assignment I went to the library only to walk into Cole

"I need to watch where I'm going," I said rubbing my head

"Yeah you should bitch," Veronica said and stood between me and Cole

I gave her a look and said, "You want a broken nose again don't you,"

"Yeah you can't do that again I trained myself in self-defence," she bragged

"Yeah good luck with that," I said and wanted to walk away but she grabbed my hair and punched me making my nose bleed

My eyes went dark and everyone stood back. Cole grabbed my arms and held me back as I wanted to fuck her up

"What's going on here?!" The principal yelled

"She tried to hit me so I hit her," Victoria lied

"You bitch," I yelled and thrashed around to get out of Cole and one of the others hold to attack the bitch

"May, in my office now," the principal said

"Sir May didn't do anything. Victoria hit her out of nowhere," Henry said

"Is this true?" The principal asked and everyone nodded their heads

"Cole, Tyler take her to the nurse. Victoria, in my office now" the principal said

I shook Tyler and Cole off me and walked away. I went to my jeep but Cole grabbed my arm

"May you need to get that checked out," he said loud enough to hear through the loud rain

"Fuck off Cole. I don't need you or your father to take care of me. I've been taking care of myself for more than two years!" I yelled

"May," he said

I just shook my head and climbed into my jeep before driving away. I went to the diner and once I went inside I saw Alby talking to Blake.

I went to them and sat down next to Blake. Alby gave me a look and Blake seemed confused

"Shouldn't you be at school and what the hell happened to your nose?" Blake asked

"A bitch hit me and I left," I said and took a napkin from Alby

"Did you..." Alby asked

"No, I didn't hit her. Cole and Tyler held me before I could," I said

"Good," Benji said making me look at him

"What you would have only put that girl in the hospital and you know it," he said

"Ben is right. You can thank Cole and Tyler. You could have been in serious trouble May," Blake said

"Blake fuck off. If you want to talk about my issues let's talk about why you left" I said glaring at him

"I had a reason to leave," he said

"And what was that? Mom dying? I lost mom too not just mom all of you. Dad left for business. You left. I pushed everyone away because of that," I said and looked at Alby before saying, "I'm not going to work tonight,"

"You going home?" He asked

"Yes, we are," Blake said

"Yeah, I have to. I'm writing a test tomorrow," I said

Alby nodded his head before giving me an envelope and said, "Your payment,"

"Now it's party time. See ya," I said and turn to my brother and asked, "You coming, idiot,"

We got in my jeep and I drove us home.
