Daniel took me to Hades and my room and put me on the bed. I curled up and Daniel chuckled a bit before putting a blanket over me
"Get some sleep," He said before he kissed my head
He left and closed the door behind him. I stood up and took a warm shower. When I got out I wrapped the towel around me and went back into the room.
I got on some panties and put on one of Hades' black shirts. After I was done I went back to the bed as I sat down Hades came in.
"Hey baby," he said and sat down on the bed
I hummed in response and laid down. He stripped down to his boxers and got under the blankets.
He pulled me to him and I snuggled into his hold.
"You okay?" He asked
"I hate this feeling. I'm scared and I feel so weak," I whispered
"You'll get better and you'll be stronger. I promise you. You have nothing to be scared about. I have you and I'll keep you safe," he said
"But what if keeping me safe means getting hurt," I whimpered
"That won't happen, baby girl," he said
"I can't see you get hurt because of me. I don't want anyone getting hurt because of me," I said
He pulled my head up so we looked at each other and said, "I won't let that happen,"
"Promise?" I asked
"I promise baby girl," he said and kissed me
After a short while, we fell asleep cuddling.
When we woke up the next day we went downstairs for breakfast after getting ready for the day.
"Good morning did you two sleep okay?" Dad asked
"Yeah," I said
Hades looked at me for a second and nodded his head before sitting down. I looked at the waffles in front of me and immediately ran to the bathroom to vomit
I felt someone holding my hair up. When I was done I sat on the ground and wiped my mouth with my sleeve.
"You okay baby?" Hades asked letting go of my hair
"We should let the doctor look at her," Gio said
"I'll call him," Grandpa said
Hades picked me up and took me to the living room. I sat on his lap with my head buried in his neck
"At you hurt?" Dad asked
I shook my head and Hades asked, "Did the food make you nauseous?"
I nodded my head and they all looked worried Dad asked, "Did you eat too much last night that you can't eat now?"
"No it was the smell of the eggs that made me nauseous," I said
"Eggs? You could smell the eggs I was eating across the table?" Gio asked
I nodded my head and Flora gasped. We all looked at her and she smiled at me and Hades
"Your pregnant," she said and everyone snapped their heads to me.
"It can't be we slept together once and that was before the accident mom. We also used protection," Hades said
"The injury would have killed the child even if she had been," A guy said coming in
"Fredrickson," Hades growled glaring at the guy
"Nice to see you too sweet nephew. I'm here to collect my mother's things," The guy said
Before anyone could say something a doctor came in and froze when everyone was looming at him
"Doc thanks for coming," Grandpa said
"Came as fast as I could," the doctor said
"Her things are all packed and by the door. The maids and butler can help you," Gio said to the guy
They left and the doctor came toward me. Hades unwrapped his arms and held mine as the doctor checked if I was okay.
"Is it just nausea or do you have headaches and stomach aches too?" He asked
"Just nausea," Hades said when I looked at him.
He somehow knew why I looked at him. The doctor hummed and took out something
"I need you to take this test," He said having me a stick
"You think she's pregnant?" Flora asked
"It's possible. When was the last time you had intercourse?" He asked
"Two nights before the accident," I replied
"It could be possible that the accident didn't harm the fetus. The accident was a month ago right?" The doc said and asked
"Yes," Hades said
"Okay. Take the test and if I'm wrong we'll go to the hospital and run some tests," the doc said
I took the test and went to the bathroom. After I was done we waited Hades held me on his lap and ran his thumb up and down my stomach
"Okay do you want to look or should I?" The doc asked
Hades held the stick and we looked at it. He smiled and kissed me when we saw the two lines.
"Yes my first grandbaby," Flora said happily
"We're having a baby," I said looking at Hades
He smiled and said, "We're starting a family,"
Just as he said family there was an explosion at the gates. Everyone immediately had guns in their hands and Hades pulled me closer
"That fucking dare attack us?" Gio yelled
"Ginny, mom takes her through the tunnel now," Hades said
"We'll go with them," Daniel and Lucifer said
Hades kissed me and said, "We'll see each other again. I'll find you,"
I wanted to argue but the gunshots sounded near. Instead, I kissed him and said, "Be careful,"
He let me go and Lucifer took my hand and we went through a secret door and into a tunnel.
Running as we heard the gunshots. When we got out there was a car waiting for us.
"Ryder," Lucifer said and the guy climbed out and opened the doors for us.
"What about them?" I asked worried
"We have a team heading in now, Donna. We'll be heading to San Francisco and meet Mrs Romero's brother there," Ryder said
"Donna?" I asked
"Mafia mother to them. Where Hades is the Don you are there Donna. The boss of the boss himself," Flora said
I nodded my head and Ryder started driving once we got in. We left everything in the house. I looked back and then at Flora when I felt her hand on my shoulder
"He'll make it back to the two of you. He won't let you live without him or that his kid grow up without him there to watch," she said
"I hope so," I said and laid my head on her shoulder
