"Mama!" Katie turned around and hummed gently. "Yes, baby?"

I stood up. "Is we can go in pool now?"

Kate picked me up and set me onto the counter. "Little one, it's bedtime!"

I furrowed my eyebrows and kicked my feet. "No! No sleepy!" Kate grabbed my stuffed animal and handed it over to me. "Then you're gonna be a grumpy little one tomorrow!"

"I... want watch movie!" She turned on the TV. "If that's what'll get you to bed...."

I gently tap on her shoulder. "Mama? Is you gib me piggy wide?"

Kate turned around and helped me on before grasping onto my hands. "Let's go, pickle."

You laid down on Kate's shoulder before starting to watch [insert movie here]. Just a few moments later, she looked over and heard gentle snoring. She giggled quietly and picked you up before lying down next to you on the bed.

You turned in bed and cuddled into Kate's side. "Mama is stay wif me, wite?" Kate kissed your forehead and nodded. "Of course, baby. Sweet dreams, little one."
