As one of the walls opened up a man with purple hair, mustache, and no mouth stood on the other side.

"Apologize for the wait. Now, we've come to the end of the exam registration. And so, the hunter exam begins now."

As everyone smiled and got ready Beerus drunk from the bottle.' I wonder if could just meet them at the end.'

"Let me remind you again if your unlucky or not strong enough, taking the hunter exam could lead to serious union your part as could cost your lives. Those taking the test spite that please come with me. Those who are not please leave through that elevator behind you." Pointing at door he stopped.

After seeing no one left he continued." Well then all 406 candidates have decided to take the first test."  Turning around he began to march with the examiner's in tow.

"So, no one's pulling out." Leorio mentioned walking beside the group.

"It's expected." Kurapika added before starting to jog along with the others.

Leorio started too."What's going on."

"The ones in the front have picked up the pace." Gon answered.

"He's picking up the pace."

"I forgot to mention. My name is Satotz and I am the examiner for the first phase. Now I am taking you all to the second phase venue."

"Second phase what about the first."

"The first has already begun. Following me to the second venue is all you have to do." Satotz said picking up speed.

During the run Killua passed Leorio on his skateboard." Oi, Kid skateboards aren't allowed it's cheating."

"Really." Killua tilted his head.

"No it isn't."Gon said running beside them. The two looked at him.

"All he said was to follow him." Facing the ceiling Beerus flew beside Gon." He never said we had to run."

"Whose side are you two on!"

Killua Slowed the match their pace "How old are you two."

"12." Gon answered for the two.

"Same age as me. I'm Killua."

Gon smiled before pointing at each of them." I'm Gon. That's Kurapika Leorio, and Beerus."

"Yo. He said drinking from the bottle."

Kicking off his skateboard started to run alongside them." I think I'll run now." Catching the board he held it under his arm.

As the two started to run the rest of the group looked at Beerus who was eating a cup of pudding.

"Eh, when'd you have time to get that."

"Ah the restaurant upstairs were giving them out." Digging in his coat he pulled out another.
"Want one."

Gon smiled."Really."

"Eat up." He said throwing the cup at him.

As the group continued to run more and more contestants dropped out the race. As the stairs to the surface came into view Beerus went to tell everyone." Where'd they go." He asked Kurapika when he noticed the other three missing.

Pointing behind him Kurapika sped up to stay with the main group. Turning around Leorio sped past him." What the hell." He said.

What're you waiting for let's go." Gon said passing him along with Killua.

Sighing he flew next to the four drinking from the bottle." Aren't you too young to be drinking kid." Leorio said missing his jacket.

"No, I'm 17 just like you."

"Huh I'm same age as them."

Lightning seemed to strike as the group froze. "There's no way." Continuing their run Killua looked at the two.

"Bullshit." Killua yelled pointing at the two.

"Alright maggots. The finish lines getting close. For those of you still with me try to keep up." Satotz said before jumping up multiple steps.

"Seems we're almost there." Kurapika said as he moved to pass a slowing candidate.

Putting the bottle in his coat Beerus started to run with the two.' Better save this for later.' Jumping over a person he looked at Gon and Killua who were smiling." What."

"Let's have a race." Gon started pointing to the top." Last one pays for dinner." Killua finished.

"Sounds fair enough." Throwing his hands in his pockets he looked at the two before nodding.
"Ready, go."

Shooting in front He started to laugh." On your left." Running past Leorio and Kurapika he slowed down a little.

"We'll meet you guys at the top." Gon said passing them and other contestants.

Killua passed him and stuck his tongue out." See you later old man."

Gritting his teeth Leorio sped up."Dammit."

As the two fought up to Beerus he started to run backwards." You'll have to be quicker than that."

"You cheater your not even touching the stairs." Killua said pointing at Beerus feet.

"Huh." Looking down Gon noticed his feet not to touching the ground but his legs just moving fast.

Gritting his teeth Killua lunged at Beerus." Come here you bastard." Going to grab him he stumbled when he came up empty handed. "Where'd he go." He asked looking a around.

Gon shrugged his shoulders." There's the top."

Reaching the top Satotz sighed." That should've thinned the herd.

"Yo." Beerus said sitting in the air in front of him

"Huh." Satotz said before Gon and Killua passed him.

"I won." Killua declared.

"No I won. Even though you cheated." Gon said.

Killua looked at the examiner. "Oi, old man, who won."

"He did." He answered pointing at Beerus.

"Now you both owe me a meal." He said sticking out his tongue.
