"Sylveon, fairy wind, Delphox, flame thrower." Serena announced to her loyal pokemon who loved her, preparing for the upcoming pokemon showcase. Panchum was, well, you can guess yourself. It was the usual Panchum, with the naughty but loving Chespin, fighting over something or other. As Serena's pokemon created the eye catching formation I thought of how I confessed to her one week ago. Since then, we were in a relationship, dating, and getting awfully close to each other, which I liked a lot. But I wondered deep inside, whether it was good to be in a relationship at the age of 15. But, when I expressed these thoughts to Serena once, she said, "Ash, do what your heart says. If your heart says to be in this, then be in it. Mind will think all kinds of thoughts." I agreed to that, so I removed those thoughts.
About our parents...well...
Flashback
"We do have to tell them sometime."
"Yea.." I sighed. She was right.
So immediately after breakfast after we revealed our relationship to everyone, we got onto my rotom phone, dialing my mom's number, my hands shaking as I did it, and from what I could see, Serena was nervous too. But as she said, it had to be done. "Ringing..." said the rotom phone, and after a few moments, my mom picked up the call, "ASH how are you? You have not called in a while!..." and she went on like that for another 10 seconds until she noticed Serena. "Oh Serena, how are you dear? You two met up sometime?" Serena replied, "Yes, we did, we met back in Lumious."
"Lumious? But I thought Ash was at the Cerise Laboratory at the moment? Ash, whats going on?" asked my mom in an angry, and questioning tone.
I replied, "Mom, I am here because Professor sent me here do research. I would be here for the next few weeks." I decided not to tell her about the whole incident, else she would probably pack her bags right now and find me in Kalos.
"I see, so why are you calling me, you don't call unless you have something important to tell or I tell you to call you," she said, clearly frustrated with my behavior. Serena just took a chuckle there, but then got serious and nervous.
I asked her in whisper, "like we did before?" she replied, "like we did before." and we held our hands together, and held it in front of the camera. She reacted immediately and said, "MY BOY HAS GROWN UP HASN'T HE, HE FINALLY GOT HIMSELF A GIRLFRIEND, THAT TOO THE PERSON WHO KISSED HIM" (A/N I'm obsessed with the kissing scene in this book ain't I) Serena, as soon as she heard that, got embarrassed and flustered and look down, asking in a high voice, with a cute face I could barely see, "You...you to...ld her about o...ur ki..ss?" I, who was also embarrassed, just nodded.
My mom just gave a chuckle and then said, "Well of course I knew about the kiss, he came happy and all after his Kalos adventure. Well then, I'll leave you kids be, and remember, I do not want grandchildren this early." After that statement, we flustered and simultaneously shouted, "Mom", "Mrs Ketchum.
After that, even though we had a bad experience with my mom, we had to call Serena's too. Out came Serena's rotom phone and she dialed her mother. She picked up and then reacted almost like my mom, I guess we get too focused on our pokemon, don't we. After 10 seconds, she noticed me and, again, reacted the same way. I guess all moms are the same, huh. We held our hands, and brought it in front of the camera, revealing our relationship. Serena's mom was out of words. Her mouth was open and it seemed like she was internally screaming. So I guess all moms are not same. After some time, she calmed down and asked us many questions, "What, how, when, where." We answered them all. (A/N I see Serena's mom as a little overprotective of her daughter, idk why) Then she said, "Well, Serena, I won't question the life choices you make. Rather, I am happy for you, as you chose the correct guy, who helped you alot, was on your side throughout your initial days. Ash, make me a promise, to take care of my daughter during times of hardship, sadness and depression. And if you make her cry, I'll run you over a Ryhorn." I chuckled nervously. I knew from her facial expression and how seriously she said those words, that she meant it. After that, we said our goodbyes. We were relieved that it was finally over and everything, sort of, went well.
Present
Nothing much has been seen from Team Flare in recent days. I guess they are planning something or the other, but we won't be able to get an idea of what they are doing unless they leave more clues. We have not heard anything on the news. We just know it has something to do with the Aura trio, and me and Greninja. Soon, we heard Clemont calling us for dinner.
??? POV
"Xerosic, how is the machine turning out?" I asked the head team flare scientist. "It is turning out evil sir, as you intended." "Good. Soon, we will be able to harness the power of the Aura trio, and be able to capture the whole world, make it a better place, and to lead the chosen ones (A/N Not to be confused with Ash) into this, and kill those who do not belong in it.
A few moments later, I heard another voice behind me. "Sir, the plan to capture Ash's bond Ally, Serena, has been framed." "Good, Casedy, implement it in the next pokemon showcase. I am sure she will participate in it."
