Chapter 8: Aftermath and The Next Challenge

After I got home Yesterday Freya and Father were bombarding me with questions about what happened and Father's concern was actually visible. I calmly explained the situation but then I told them about the monster called Nomu that bore a striking resemblance to the Draug we Had fought over the past week.

"So these creatures we've been encountering are actually called Nomu?" Freya questioned

"Yeah and I think I met their creator as well," I said

"Who?" Father asked

"A man by the name of Tomura Shigaraki I assume he made since he was the one commanding the larger Nomu" I stated

"But why?" Freya questioned

I explained how during the attack their main goal was to kill All Might and how they specifically made the larger one to do so.

"I see they wanted to crush people's faith in heroes by killing the strongest here, you and your classmates were caught in the crossfire" Father deduced which I nodded in confirmation too

"That must've been stressful go inside and explain what happened to Mimir Me and Kratos will check if any of the Draug or Nomu will show up again," Freya said which I didn't object to since I was getting tired

Mimir seemed shocked by what I told him and I could tell he was a little bothered by the fact that the monsters had already been named before he called them Draug but he tried to hide it and told me to go rest up, but he also told me about a little adventure he, Freya and Father went on whil I was at school and that he'd give me the details later.

The next day news channels were still reporting on the USJ incident and school was closed the next day so I spent the day helping with chores and scouting around the house to make sure no other Nomu would be trying to attack. I also wound up trying to investigate the so-called League of Villains but I only found the information that was made public.

When I went back to school the next day the attack was still fresh on everyone's minds and were still talking about what they'd seen on the news. Hagakure even pointed out how we were shown for a few seconds. Kaminari talked about how we were basically celebrities but Jirou told him to get over himself since they were there cause a U.A. facility was attacked.

"Who knows what would have happened if the teachers hadn't shown up," Sero said

'we would've been fine'

"Why'd you say that! I'm gonna pee myself just thinking about it" Mineta said panicked

"Did you guys see All Might fighting that bird guy that guy was super strong and he still destroyed him" Sato said pumped up

 Everyone went on talking about what happened while I sat at my desk silently going over what I knew about Nomu's and the League of Villains in my head and trying to make sense of it.

"Attention! Homeroom class is about to begin! Everyone stop talking and take your seats." Ilda said as he ran to the front of the class

Kaminari and Sero pointed out that Ilda was the only one standing. To which He rushed back to his and cursed under his breath while Uraraka tried to comfort him.
