Our wedding day is finally here. As Amanda and my sister help me get my hair and makeup ready, they talk about their romance lives.

"I can't believe your getting married before me." My sister almost groans as she curls my hair. I jokingly roll my eyes at her and play with my bracelet.

Amanda chimes in as she brushes powder on my face. "Are you nervous?"

I shake my head at her, "No. I'm actually... calm. This all just feels right." I smile.

Not only did this feel right, but I actually was surprised to see how supportive Dean and I's families were.

The morning after Keith told me that Dean and I wouldn't last, he apologized and said Dean's sister and him broke up. However, they ended up getting back together last week, so I really don't know what's going on with them.

It doesn't excuse what he said— it still stung and ruined my mood. I was so happy to tell everyone and he had to put his negativity on me. Most of my family members are that way, so I've learned to try and not let it get to me.

I of course forgave him. There's no need to hold a grudge when he clearly was bitter about something else. I also think a part of him was upset that I was getting married before him. Though, that's not my problem.

Amanda finishes my makeup and looks at her work in awe. "I just can't believe I'm so good at makeup." She squeals and smiles, making the dimples in her cheeks more noticeable.

My sister finishes my hair and I look at their beautiful work in the mirror. I can't believe it's my wedding day. I've looked forward to this moment for so long, and it's finally here.

I look at my dress across the room that I'm getting ready in. "It's perfect." I practically drool over it as do the other girls.

I'm in a white silk robe so I don't get makeup on the dress, but I can't wait to put it on. Ever since I tried on the dress at the boutique, my heart has grown attached to it. As silly as that sounds, it's true.

My mom kept her wedding dress and tried it on just recently, and I could see the memories come back to her. She got all emotional so I tuned her out, but I want to be able to try my dress on years from now in front of my kids.

"Earth to Athena." Amanda says slowly, waving her hand in front of my face. I snap out of my trance and look at the serious-faced blonde.

"What?" I sigh, feeling nervous about what she may bring up. She hates Andrew— as do I. He's pretty much disliked among most people with a brain.

She said we shouldn't invite him to the wedding because he'd probably start drama, but I'm sure he won't. It's too risky for him and he's not bold enough for that.

"So..." She trails off. "Andrew's here." She presses her lips together, making a face that tells me she's displeased at the mere thought of him. I don't blame her though. Hearing his name is enough to make me lose my lunch.

I roll my eyes and shake my head, hoping she'll get the idea that I don't want to hear about him. "What about it?" I state while I walk over to my dress, slowly tracing the soft fabric with my fingers.

Amanda follows behind, "Don't let him get to you, okay?" She says, pinning her hair up in rollers as she speaks.

I raise an eyebrow at her, "Why would he get to me?" My tone coming off a bit rude. She only shrugs and walks back over to the dresser where she's doing her hair.

"Amanda..." I say as suspicion begins to fill my head. "Why would he get to me?" I repeat myself, though my tone is skeptical now.

She gulps as she curls a piece of her hair, then pins it up in a roller. "It's just..." She drags out her words only making anticipation and anxiety grow in my stomach. "Oh, spit it out already!" I gripe at her, feeling my impatience grow.
