Chapter 4

(Author's Note: I'm going to speed up the book some so I can have it somewhat match up with current times, plus I've been meaning to update for a good minute I literally been on vacation)

Sharife's POV

Hearing my phone go crazy is usual since I am a busy person but this wasn't ordinary. I looked down at my phone and seen notifications from Instagram and text messages from Liyah.

Once I seen that, I immediately clicked on Instagram and seen a screenshot of some flowers I sent to Ash. I mean, I've been wanting this girl since I laid my eyes on her. I slid in her DMs and from there things have been going well besides this. I really didn't want my business out there like that but, eventually everyone was going to find out.

Knowing Liyah, she's probably ready to curse me out because she always would tell me that "she's not even paying you no attention, so why do you keep putting yourself out there" and I mean I wasn't going to stop trying until I got the chance to make her mines. I don't care what anyone has to say about us, the only thing they need to know is that it's us against the world.

Currently, I'm trying to text Liyah back and things just went sideways

I'm currently waiting for Liyah to text me back but she seems to be still typing. Knowing her, she's probably typing a whole paragraph about nothing because she's foul for saying all the things she just said about ash.

Jaliyah's POV

Currently, I'm trying to find the right words to say to this idiot. Like, do he NOT realize the reason why I'm spazzing out. To be truly honest, I can say that my feelings for Sharife became MORE than us being friends since the night of his draft. Knowing that he made me feel extremely special and safe that night made me realize that I actually do have feelings for him. Looking down at my phone I seen Sharife sent something to me
