I walked down the stairs just as I heard my mums cheery voice say loudly "oh my god he's gorgeous"
I knew she was talking about Louis making me smile
"Hey mum" I said turning the corner to see my mum up at Marcel who had our baby in his arms and my mum trying to get him to look at her
"Hi son" she mumbled not even acknowledging me

She was all up baby talking in louis' ear but my love was scared it was obvious "Jesus mum give him space" I said a little too harshly going over and taking Lou from marcels hold into mine he bury's his head into my shoulder
I know my mum means no harm but she has to learn to be gentle with him
"I'm sorry love but he's just adorable" she apologised as Edward shut the door taking my mums coat
"It's okay"I sighed leading the way into the living room
"You wanna play cars ?" I asked Louis
"You p'ay?" He questioned lifting his head to look at me with his red puffy eyes
"I can't kitten I need to speak with my mum"I told him , but honestly as much as I love my mum I would much rather be playing cars with him
"Go sit with dwaddies?" He asked quietly
"Sure baby" I told him sitting him on Edward laps who was right next to marcel
"Mum you wanted to talk to me ?" I asked getting her attention from her conversation with Edward and Marcel
"Yes son it's about the company..." she started but I cut her off
"Can we go upstairs I don't like talking business in front of my family"I told her it was true I don't know why but I just don't
"I'm your family aswell you know" she mumbled standing up
"You know what I mean"I mumbled back
I'm not trying to be rude but I have a day off I wanted to spend it in bed, cuddling and watching movies all day . Not talk about business but here we are
(Edwards pov)
I rocked little Lou In my arms as I watched Harry and Anne go upstairs
"He's still upset about last night" marcel whispered
"I know and he's taking it out on his mum, I'll talk to him once their finished"I whispered back
I heard my babies soft snores looking down to see our little darling sound asleep on my lap
"Do you want me to fix his travel cot?" Marcel asked
"Yeh would you" I answered looking at Lou he was honestly angelic I kissed his forehead and played with his hair
I stood up and lay him down into the travel cot

I then went over to marcel who had sat back down and kissed him it got heated quickly and I pulled him to straddle my lap
"E-Edward mmh c-c-can't" he mumbled out against my mouth as I held his hips and grinded them against mine
"Shhh it-it's okay" i panted into his mouth continuing kissing him senseless
"I leave you both alone for 10 minutes" we here Harry say marcel pulls back with a gasp seeing Harry and Anne watching us
Marcel face goes bright red and he quickly gets off my lap
"Sorry Miss Twist" I apologised showing respect for my husbands mother
"Oh it's okay I think you are all forgetting what I used to walk in on all the time when you both would sneak in" she laughed making even me blush remembering some of the things she's walked in on
"Right mum that's enough" Harry said also blushing I looked at marcel to see he was bright red with his head down
"It's alright baby" I whispered in his ear as I put my arm around his shoulder bringing him into me
"Sorry my darling I didn't mean to embarrass you" Anne laughed putting her hand on his thigh
"Mum that's enough stop laughing at him your upsetting him" Harry snapped at his mum he would never talk to her like this
"Harry" I snapped back at him
"What ? I didn't do anything she is upsetting our husband Edward" he raised his voice at me which he hardly ever does
"Haz I'm fine I was just embarrassed" marcel tried to settle him down
" I'm just saying Edward when would you not stick up for us?" He asked me looking hurt which broke my heart I know he's not actually mad about this but still
"Babe I always would but it was just a joke , if something was actually wrong with any of you of course I would stick up for you" I told him seriously walking up to him
"We'll clearly not" he scoffed
" I'm sorry have I come on a bad day are you in the middle of an argument or something?" Anne questioned obviously wondering what was wrong she has never seen us even had a disagreement
"No mum everything is fine" he answered
"Love I don't want to start an argument...but i can clearly see your upset" I told him taking his hand in mine
He pulled it away " I'm not fucking upset...I-I-I don't know I'm sorry okay I-I" he protested as his eyes started to fill with tears.
"C-mere" I said taking his hand leading him out the room into the kitchen were I brought him into a hug rubbing his back
"It's okay baby let it out, everything is okay ,there is absolutely nothing to worry about , just let it out shhh shhhh that's it my darling" I comforted as he broke down in my arms
"I-I'm sorry s-sorry" he sobbed into my neck
"You have nothing to be sorry for just let it all out" I kissed his head playing with his hair until he calmed down
he pulled back from my neck I cupped his cheeks wiping the tears away he closed his eyes and I kissed each one before pulling back not letting go of his face
"I love you so so much my gorgeous boy and I will always stand up for you against anyone who tries to hurt you" I told him looking into his eyes
"I love you to I'm forever grateful for you and I know you would never let anything happen to any of us" he said i leaned forward and we kissed for 5 seconds no movement no lust just pure love and adoration
