In the frigid winter night, Bondita Roy Chaudhury returned to her abode after an exhausting day at the court, moreover she had to deal with a very difficult yet not a new situation for her when she paid a visit to one of her client who is a courageous widow fighting Against her in-laws to get her lawful right to the wealth her husband left her. She took a deep sigh due to her tiredness yet a small satisfactory smile ornated her face as she knew it was all worth it.

She was late today so everyone already had dinner and retired to their rooms.

Bondita freshened up and was getting ready for bed but not before checking up on the little soul who was nestling on the embellished wooden cradle, snoring a little with her tiny mouth agaped; Anidita's 1.5 years Adiba.

As Bondita stood infront of their royal dressing table, she looked at her own reflection.....

Bondita Anirudh Roy Chaudhury ; a successful woman Barrister, a social reformer, revolutionary, a wife, a mother, a daughter - in -law , sister- in- law and bahu of the zaimdar of Tulsipur was a lady whom everyone looked upto. She tried to fulfill every duty she had. Eventhough She is still struggling to maintain. Her day starts by waking up on the crack of dawn to sleeping  at midnight. she barely got time for herself and whenever she was lucky to find some, she spent those precious time with her precious one,her patibabu. Bondita didn't necessary feel the lack of time for herself but today, she took notice of herself and realisation dawned upon her.

She wasn't the same Bondita who loved wearing "Reshmi churis" complementing with her sarees. The bondita standing in front of the mirror, hasn't changed her thin gold bangles from 6 months. Her doe shaped eyes weren't lined with kohl but eyes were leaden from exhaustion. Did they still had that shine her patibabu always complimented about? She mused. Bondita unknowingly wetted her lips which were chapped due to the harsh winter and obviously she wasn't moisturizing them nor the perfectly curved lips had any tints.

Her eyes fell on the " Dhakai Saree" lying on the bed, She donned the same, day before yesterday. Earlier Bondita used to shuffle her wardrobe every month so as to  she wasn't repeating her attire often. Now she even forgot she had any ritual of that kind. Oh, she skipped applying alta today. Nevermind.

She jerked herself out of these thoughts and opened her long tresses to comb. Her patibabu loved tangling his fingers in her satiny straight long hair. But now, these had split ends, were rough and she is facing hairfall too lately. How can she even expect to stay the same when she hardly took care of them?

Should I Shorten them? It will mean less hassle to manage and haircare . After all what was the point of having long hair if they were not luxurious and healthy?

Bondita wasn't vain but she believed in self-care and good representation of herself.

She was caught up in her chain of thoughts  simultaneously brushing  her hair up From the ends. Unbeknown to her, Anirudh was standing on the threshold of their room exactly knowing what she was thinking without her even uttering a word.

Anirudh ran to the kitchen with a book in hand. He was heating something on the earthen stove.

Bondita walked upto the study, surprised that he wasn't sitting on his leather chair with his head immersed in some thick book.

Patibabu? Where are you? She called him in a low tone, just then she heard his footsteps.

Anirudh was sprinting towards the study with a small brass bowl along with a white towel on one hand and small "piri" on another.

He sat on the Persian green sofa and indicated his baffled wife to sit on the stool placed in front of him with a charming smile on his lips and eyes shining like stars.

She furrowed her eyebrows further. What was he upto now?

"Aha boshte bolchi, bosho na!"
(I have asked you to sit, so sit na)

Giving in to his pleas, she sat on the stool quietly  mind still running with questions.

Then finally she understood, Mr Roy Chaudhury was about to give his wife a head massage / champi when he opened her bun and let the hair fall freely on this thighs

Then finally she understood, Mr Roy Chaudhury was about to give his wife a head massage / champi when he opened her bun and let the hair fall freely on this thighs.

Bondita tried to refuse him, but Anirudh being Anirudh asked her to keep her finger on her lips.

Taking a handful of herbal oil which he himself prepared on his palm dampened her hair partition and started working his fingers on her scalp.
He hummed in the process, quite satisfied what his fingers were doing.

Bondita felt her tensed muscles relaxing. Slouching her shoulders down, she leaned backwards giving in to the pampering. But time to time, she had to use the towel to wipe off the excess oil that was flowing from her scalp to her forehead. Who's going to tell her husband she doesnt need the whole shishi ? If it wasn't winter, she would have been already sweaty. And he didn't know how to give headmassages too but anything for her patibabu... Right?

They spoke about how their day went, what mischiefs Adiba played on her father that day, what tantrums their Princess showed to her kaka dadu and many more miniscule things that doesn't really matter to us but to them it was precious because they were with each other.

Bondita rested her head on Anirudh knees as he was braiding her hair or we can also say wrestling!

Finally, he was successful to make something helical but not even close to braid. He flashed a smile and call out Bondita to praise him for making a helical shaped hairdo but Bondita already dozed off on her sitting position with her head resting on his left thigh.

He gently stroked her hair and placed a kiss her head with eyes oozing with love, care and respect for the woman who is his sansaar in real sense.

"Janta hu tum bohot mehnaat karti ho, saradin kuch na kuch hota hi hai" ghar parivaar, court sabkuch kaise sambhal leti ho? Aur uff tak nahi karti? Koshish rehti hai mera ki tumhe madat karu par yaha toh tumhe hi mujhe sambhal na parta hai. Thank you Bondita"

With a renewed passion to equally contribute to the workload and to make certain that his Bondita always feel cherished as she should be and pampered ; he picked her up in his arms and moved towards their room.

Hello people! This is my first try in writting fan fiction, to be honest Last time i wrote something was on my 10th boards, an essay 😂 This idea popped up in my mind so I thought why not writting it myself? Maybe this is could be my demonstration of love for Anidita and Barrister Babu FFs.
