*back at Zoe's apartment after getting the starter*
"Okay, are you guys ready to destroy this thing" Zoe asked the group
"Okay we'll use Kalimba and Parquinnien to superheat it".
"I think it's working, this is easier than I thought it'd be!"
Suddenly the pot started building up smoke and....
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Ish yelped jumping away from the stove.
"It's too hot in here... what did we do wrong??"
Hannah quickly dumped water on it, and slowly things cooled off.
"Well that's good".
"Yeah but we didn't get no where near I'm destroying the starter, what now?" Zoe asked.
"I'll go try to talk to pierce, see if he changes his mind-"
"No Chuck you can't!"
"He's far too dangerous, he could hurt you-"
Zoe and Leo claimed.
"I say let him" Kelly countered shrugging
All six of them looked at her with a confused look
"Well...who knows..i-it could help?" Kelly attempted to make it not sound so bad.
"Yeah, I'm usually with you on most things kell but this is too dangerous. Don't go Chuck"
"Yeah Darbie's right you could get hurt, or cursed or-"
"Still. Better me than any of you guys. Look think about this, Zoe, ish, and Leo you three are the protectors you need to stay here and figure out how to destroy the sourdough starter. Darbie, Hannah, and Kell- Kelly you guys have delt with things like this, you need to help them out. So I'll go talk to him".
"Like it or not guys, he's right. We have to try everything". Ish somberly agreed with Chuck.
"Okay then, I'll see you guys later" Chuck said and locked eyes with Kelly for a split second before walking out the door to Pierce's apartment.
