Birthday drama ☁️ 𝕃𝕦𝕔𝕚𝕠 𝐌.𝐌

"Lucio, I know you seriously don't have anything better to do... but really?..."

"Yes. Because I like to pamper you and this is still not enough."

Lucio said proudly as you stood there infront of the mirror, grumbling to yourself as a woman took your measures for your new ball gown that lucio insisted you'd get. Even though you had twenty other ones you could have worn that no one has seen before.

After she was done, Lucio shooed her outside of the room and quickly took your hand and dragged you with him on a stroll to a jewelry shop.

"Lucio! At least be nice to the woman. Please be nicer next time."

"Later, later. Now, I want you to get the jewelry you like since today is your birthday. Grab whatever you want! Don't worry about anything else!"

He pushed you by the back into the store and you sighed. Though today really was your birthday, Lucio never gave you a rest as he showered you with unimaginable, and expensive honestly, gifts. Most in which you never had a need for but would he listen?

Absolutely not.

You looked around in the jewelry shop, hoping to act as if you didn't like anything so you wouldn't have to buy it. It all looked so... expensive. Too expensive.

A very, very small Ruby necklace caught your eyes as you stilled infront of it. Admiring it soft shine and tiny size that you adored.

"Hey (Y/N), what did you like?- Oh, good choice!"

"Huh?-"

It happened that the small necklace you were glazing at stood side by side with a more majestic and larger necklace that Lucio that you were looking at.

"Lucio-"

"Excuse me, bring that up please."

"No, wait a min-"

You tried to stop him from buying anything but it was already too late. He had quickly brought the thing and spun you around so your back now faced him.

"Lucio?-"

"I'll put it on for you."

"Oh..uhm.. o..kay?.."

You slowly moved your hair about of the way and he wrapped the necklace around your neck, its heavy weight and large size completely shocked you.

"There! Now turn around, let me see!"

You slowly turned to face him, a forced smile on your face as you sweat dropped at his shocked expression.

"You look so..."

"Ugly, I know-"

"Beautiful! You're going to wear that the whole day today! C'mon, we've gotta go get so many more things!"

He dragged you by the hand out of the store and for the rest of the remaining day time, he was pulling you into expensive wear shops and buying you the most unnecessary things in where it was always the simplicity of something that you liked had been placed next to the most expensive item in the store.

By the end of the day as you two took a rest in the Palace, you had brought atleast fifteen pieces of jewellery and more than twenty other expensive items such as silks, scarfs, and exquisite antiques that took your eyes.

The guards and maids struggled as they brought inside all of the bought bags. The carriage was full of them as it was still being unloaded.

"Lucio... I think we brought too much-"

"Nonsense! My dear love gets only the finest for her birthday! Now c'mon, we have to get you dressed in that gown for the ball tonight!"

You looked at him confusingly.
