We went home and got clothes and pyjamas because we all thought it would be fun to have a sleepover so El asked if we wanted to stay over hers and obviously me and Max said yes, we also packed some magazines and we told Susan we were staying at El's. Then we went to Hoppers cabin with Eleven and Hopper wasn't home, so we went to El's room and listened to music while me and Max we're dancing and singing around El's room, El was looking through the magazines we had brought
"You must be an angel. I can see it in your eyes. Full of wonder and surprise.." Me and Max sang along, I stop and chuckle
"Oh, you found Ralph Macchio." I said
"Macchio?" El asked
"Yeah, he's the Karate Kid. Hai-yah!" I said
"He's so hot, right?" Max said "I bet he's an amazing kisser, too."
"Yes, I bet he is." I said
"Hey, uh...is Mike a good kisser?" Max asked El
"I don't know. He's my first boyfriend." El said
"Ex-boyfriend." I corrected, I saw El's face drop when I said that "Hey, don't worry about it. Okay?"
"He'll come crawling back to you in no time, begging for forgiveness. I guarantee you, him and Lucas are, like, totally wallowing in self-pity and misery right now." Max said
"They're like 'Oh, I hope they take us back.'" I said making a crying face and we all laugh
"God, what I wouldn't give to see their stupid faces." Max said El looked away from Max like she knew something "What is is?" El smiled at us and told us what idea she had, she changed the Chanel on the radio to a static one, and she got a bandana and wrapped it around her eyes
"Is that really gonna work?" I ask, El nodded "Holy shit, this is insane."
"Rory." El said
"Yeah, quiet. I'm sorry." I said, me and Max stayed quiet
"I see them." El said, me and Max move to the floor next to El
"What are they doing?" Max asked
"Eating." El answered "They say we are 'species'"
"What?" I asked
"'Emotion, not logic'" El continued
"What?" Max said pissed, El takes her blindfold away from her eyes shocked or scared "What happened?" El started laughing "what? What happened?" Then me and Max start laughing with her, then we hear a car El sits up, we start to play music and lay on the floor reading magazines, then Hopper stormed in
"Do you knock? Jeez!" I said
"Yeah! Jeez!" El said
"Oh, hey. I'm sorry. I thought that, uh-" Hopper said shocked it was me and Max
"Mikes not here." I said
"Max and Rory wanted to have a sleepover. Is that..okay?" El said to Hopper
"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Your parents know about it?" Hopper said looking at me and Max
"Yup." Max said nodding
"Uh, yeah, it's cool." Hopper slurred "Yeah. That's- That's really cool."
"Did you need something?" I asked Hop
"No, no. Uh, I'll leave. I'll just let you..I'll leave you.." Hopper said closing the door, us girls laugh.
Me, Max and El got up onto the bed and wrote names on pieces of paper, put them on a bored and El was going to spin the bottle
