Emu wanted to do more than just talk about the aquarium they were going to, so she spontaneously changed the conversation topic.

Mafuyu didn't really know how to respond to that, so she just put the phone done and went back to working on the lyrics for a new song.

Emu was so happy to be talking to Mafuyu that she didn't notice the random spam she sent. Emu didn't understand why she was feeling this way, but decided to pass it off as she really wanted to be Mafuyu's friend.
