he pressed down on his wound.

glancing over at adams face, i started studying his features.

he's cute. like, actually cute. holy shit.

"why are you staring at me?" adam asked.

"you do have a really punchable face." i pointed out, grabbing his cheek and pinching it gently.

"i've also been told i have a really kissable face." adam teased.

"you just told me not to say anything!" i reminded.

"no, i wasn't shot." the man changed the subject, answering adams previous question. "no, i was stabbed with a bullet. what do you think, you moron?"

"adams not a moron." i defended.

"thank you. glad to know you appreciate me." adam said, and turned to the man. "i'm a moron? you're the one who was shot."

"all right, okay, that's it." the man coughed, and the wound made a squelching noise. "wow. that, uh, that's weird. it farts when i cough."

"why is it queefing?" i grimaced.

"gross." adam stared at the wound.

"super gross." the man agreed. "i'm gonna go upstairs, i'm grab some stuff. stay cool, you guys can trust me."

adam and i followed him up the stairs.

"who even are you?" adam questioned.

"do you have snapchat?" i asked.

"that is classified." the man entered the bathroom, pulling out first aid kit items from drawers.

"his question or mine?" i asked.

"both." he spoke.

"why are you here?" adam asked.

"also classified." the man shut his eyes tightly as he sprayed some alcohol on the wound.

"are you in the air force?" adam asked a different question.

"when i say classified, what does your brain hear? chocolate?" the man lowered himself to adams height.

he turned around, walking away.

"what's with the light saber?" adam asked another question.

"do you have instagram?" i asked a more important question.
