ADAM GULPED!
cherry was beyond confused, staring at him with a shocked expression.
he'd just called her his girlfriend.
in public.
that was supposed to be a thought. not a sentence.
and now he'd embarrassed himself in front of her.
she probably didn't even like him back, and they'd just become friends, and now she'd think he was weird, just because he couldn't keep his stupid mouth shut.
why did he have to embarrass himself like that? constantly? and why always in front of her?
why did he even call her his girlfriend? adam didn't like her at all.
well, he liked some parts of her.
he liked the flavor of her lipgloss, especially off of her.
he liked when her hair was braided.
he liked how even when she was mad at him, she'd stick up for him.
he liked how she was never really a good bully. she'd insult him, and then he'd make a stupid joke or pick up line, and she'd laugh and try to keep a straight face.
he liked how every night, he felt as though he could see cherry in the moon, or in it's reflection in a dark lake.
the night glowed in hopes of attracting fallen stars.
like a butterfly catching net.
he liked that when she entered his room, she'd always lay down next to him, even though he'd ignore her, and be angry at her, she'd still talk to him.
at that time, she hated him. but she still spent every second with him.
there was nothing waiting for her at home.
the house was giant, but it was empty. when she screamed, it echoed, only for her to hear.
adam could've ignored her.
but he didn't.
half of their conversations were always insults, but they always talked to each other.
they despised each other, but they'd always be in the same area, a few feet apart.
they only had each-other. no matter how much they pretended to hate each-other.
