You don't see the tears
No one sees the marks
Only one sees the blood
You cannot fix someone
That you, yourself broke

Apologise and walk away
You are blind to
The hideous truth
You are deaf to the horrific
Sobbs behind the bedroom door
Cries of someone
Who won't make it long
Deaf to the awful lies told
Fake smiles and laughs
"Fake it till you make it"
Stay blind and watch
As your loved one
