Alarms started blaring. Mike ran into the room.
"What's going on?" Joyce asked mike
"We're under attack." Mike replied
Mike grabbed 2 syringes
"We need to make them sleep." Mike said
"What?" Joyce asked
"They're spies. If they know where we are, so does the shadow monster." Mike told Joyce
"He's lying!" Will and Tristan yelled
"He killed those soldiers. He'll kill us, too!" Mike said
"He's lying!" Tristan and Will yelled repeatedly
"Will, Tristan, listen, listen. Do you know who I am?" Joyce asked. They thought for a moment. Tristan couldn't remember at the moment.
"do you know who I am?" She asked again
"You're... You're... You're mom." Will said.
Joyce looked at bob and said "hold will down. then Tristan."
Bob held will down while Joyce stabbed the syringe into Wills arm. Bob then ran over to Tristan and held him down.
"Let me go! Let go go!" Tristan yelled
"I'm sorry." Joyce said before stabbing Tristan with the syringe.
Eventually he calmed down.

Hopper and doctor Owens slammed the door open. They heard the demo dogs
"We gotta go. We gotta go." Hopper said as he picked Will and Tristan up. Bob, Joyce, Mike, and Owens followed the chief. They saw people getting attacked so they ran into the closest room. Hopper put the cousins down.
Bob looked over to some screens and said, "oh, my god." There were dead bodies everywhere. And the demo dogs were roaming around the hallways of the lab. All of a sudden the power went out.

"Look, this is us, and this is the nearest exit. But even if we somehow make it there, there's no way out." Sam Owens told Joyce, Hopper, Bob and Mike
"What do you mean?" Hopper asked
"The locks are fail secure" Owens said
"Fail secure?" Joyce repeated
"If there's a power outage, the building goes on full lockdown." Owens told her
"Can it be unlocked remotely?" Bob asked
"With a computer, sure, but somebody's gotta reset the breakers."
"Where are the breakers?" Hopper asked
"Breakers are in the basement, 3 floors down." Owens told hopper
Hopper grabbed the paper that Owens had and started to leave but Bob stopped him by asking, "hey, where are you going?"
"To reset the breakers" hopper replied
"Okay, then what?" Bob asked
"Then we get the hell out of here"
"No, then the power comes back on. If you wanna unlock the doors you have to completely reboot the computer system, and then override the security codes with a manual input." Bob explained to Hopper
"Fine, how do I do that?" Hopper asked the man
"You can't. Not unless you know BASIC"
"I don't know what that means" hopper said to bob
"It's a computer programming language" Mike told Hopper
"Alright, teach it to me" hopper told Bob
Bob scoffed "Shall I teach you French while I'm at it, Jim? How about a little German?" Bob then turned to Owens and asked, "how about you, Doc? You speak BASIC?"
Owens was about to say yes, but instead told him, "no"
"Okay, I got this. I got this."
"No. Bob" Joyce said, walking up to bob
"It's okay." Bob told the worried woman, hugging her "it's gonna be okay. Remember: Bob Newby, superhero."

hopper dragged a security guards body over to bob
"Okay, grab his walkie" hopper told Bob.
So, bob grabbed the guards walkie. Hopper grabbed the gun and reloaded it
"Alright, you know how to use one of these?" Hopper asked
"No." Bob told him.
"Safety on. Safety off. Point. Squeeze." Hopper explained
"Point and squeeze. Okay. Easy peasy" bob said.
He had the gun pointed in hoppers direction so hopper moved his hand away and said, "if anything happens down there. I want you to come right back up."
"Right back here" bob repeated "listen. Don't wait for me. As soon as I get those doors open..."
"I'm gonna get them out" hopper said.
"yeah?"
"I promise." Hopper told the man
"Okay, well... I'll be in touch." Bob told hopper before getting up and walking away

Everybody outside noticeed that the lights were back on. They ran to where the guards usually control the gates. Jonathan tried to open the gate but the button wouldn't work.
After awhile, Dustin got sick of not being able to be with Tristan. He just wanted to see if Tristan was alright (which Dustin knew he most likely wasn't)
"Let me try" Dustin said to Jonathan
"Hang on--"
"Let me try, Jonathan!" Dustin yelled, pushing Jonathan out of the way.
Dustin then started pressing the button over and over again
