Suzie, do you copy?

Tristan, Will, Lucas, and Max were waiting for mike at the mall. And he was late again.
"We should just leave without him. He's late for the 3rd time this week" Tristan complained.
But just then, mike arrived
"You're late" Tristan said to Mike
"Sorry!" Mike apologized
"Again" Lucas added
"We're gonna miss the opening" will told Mike
"Yeah, if you guys keep whining about it. Let's go!" Mike responded.
"If you guys keep whining about it. Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh" Tristan mocked
"Just please stop talking, dude" mike said, pushing Tristan towards the door.
"Let me guess." Lucas said "You were busy" he then made kissing noises
"Oh, yeah, real mature, Lucas" mike rolled his eyes
"Oh, El, I with we could make out forever and never hang out with any of our friends." Lucas joked
"Lucas, stop" max warned
Tristan turned to his cousin to see him laughing
"Will thinks it's funny" Tristan told Max
"Because it is" Will said, still laughing
"Yeah, it's so funny that I want to spend romantic time with my girlfriend" mike said
"I'm spending romantic time with my girlfriend" Lucas said, wrapping his arm around Max

The party ran down the escalator. When Tristan got off of it he pushed some girls out of the way. one of them screamed, "watch it!"
"Yeah! Watch it, nerd!" A little girl yelled. It couldn't be anyone but Erica Sinclair
"Isn't it past your bedtime?" Lucas asked his sister
"Isn't it time you died?" Erica asked
"Psycho!" Lucas said as Erica's friends laughed
"Butthead!"
"Mall rat!"
"Fart face!"
Tristan blew raspberries at his friends younger sister
"Oh, now that was mature" Max said to Tristan, grabbing the boys arm and dragging him into the place where he works.
Mike started ringing the bell repeatedly
"Hey, dingus, your son and his little gang are here." Robin called
Steve opened the window in the back and asked, "again? seriously?"
Mike just rang the bell in response.

Steve let the children in through the hallway where Nobody but staff is allowed to go,
"I swear, if anybody hears about this--"
"We're dead!" They all said in unison
"And you'll be fired Tristan!" Steve yelled. Tristan ignored Steve.

"All clear" Tristan told his friends. They walked into day of the Dead and went to the seats that were available.
"See, Tristan? We made it." Mike whispered to the boy that was sitting beside will
"We missed the previews" Lucas told Mike
"Still made it. Fart face" Max told her boyfriend.
Will passed out drinks and Snacks to the party.
The movie started, but a few minutes later, the power went off in the whole mall. A few minutes later, the power turned back on. That's when they felt it. The mind flayer.
"Will, Tristan, you guys alright?" Mike asked.
"Yeah" will told Mike.
Tristan nodded in response
"Are you sure?" Mike asked
"Of course " Tristan told mike

Tristan, Will, Lucas, Mike, and Max were hiding behind a wall getting ready to surprise Dustin. Tristan had made the sign that Lucas was going to hold up
"At least someone's happy I'm home" Tristan heard Dustin say.
Dustin furrowed his eyebrows. He went to take the sign from Lucas, but Mike stopped him.

Eleven then made Dustin's toys move into the living room knowing that he would follow. Dustin grabbed his hair spray from the snowball and followed the toys saying, "it's just a dream. You're dreaming."
"Now!" Mike whispered to El.
She stopped the toys. Dustin ran up to them and picked one up
Everyone walked behind him with noise makers and blew into them. Dustin screamed and sprayed the hairspray into Lucas'eyes. They both screamed until Tristan grabbed the hairspray from Dustin and yelled, "it's just us!"

Dustin was showing Tristan and the others his inventions
"I call it... The forever Clock." Dustin started "Alright? Powered by wind. Very useful in the apocalypse." Tristan was the only one interested in what Dustin made at science camp "Then, I give you... The slammer" Dustin chuckled, giving it to his boyfriend "pretty neat, huh? But this... This is my masterpiece." Dustin said, putting a duffel bag down on the ground and unzipping it "I would like you to meet... Cerebro."
"What exactly are we looking at here?" Mike asked
"An unassembled one of a kind battery powered radio tower." Dustin told him proudly
"So, it's a... A ham radio" will said
"The Cadillac of ham radios" Dustin corrected "this baby carries a crystal clear connection over vast distances. I'm talking north pole to South. I can talk to Suzie whenever and wherever I choose."
"Suzie?" They all repeated

"Girls go to summer camp?" Tristan asked his boyfriend
"Suzie does. She's a genius." Dustin replied
"Is she cute?" Mike asked
"Yep" Dustin told Mike "think Phoebe Cates, but cuter"
"What's going on?" Max asked
"We're going to talk to Suzie" will told Max

"Aren't we high enough?" Lucas asked Dustin as they were climbing up the hill at the nelson farm
"Cerebro works best at a hundred meters." Dustin replied
"You know, I'm pretty sure people in Utah have telephones" max said to dustin
"Yeah, but Suzie's Mormon" Dustin replied
"Oh, shit. She doesn't have electricity?" Tristan asked his boyfriend
"Oh, that's the Amish" max told Tristan
"What are Mormons?" Will asked
"Super religious white people." Dustin told him "they have electricity and cars and stuff, but since I'm not Mormon, her parents would never approve of our friendship. It's all a bit... Shakespearean."
"Shakespearean?" Tristan repeated
"Yeah. Like Romeo and Juliet. Star crossed lovers. Except were not in love. Me and you are." Dustin told Tristan

"Hey, guys!" They all heard mike yell. All 5 kids turned around "this is fun and all, but, uh..."
"I have to go home" El told them
"We're almost there" Dustin told them.
"Sorry, man. Curfew" mike told the curly haired boy before grabbing Els hand and walking away. But before they could get too far away, eleven said, "Good luck"
Dustin looked at his watch, "curfew at 4:00?"
"They're lying" Lucas told the boy
"It's been like this all summer" Tristan added.
"It's romantic" max said
Will scrunched up his face, "It's gross"
"It's bullshit. I Just got home. Well, their loss, right? Onwards and upwards! Suzie awaits!" Dustin said, grabbing Tristan's hand and started walking up the hill

After they all set up the cerebro, they waited for awhile for Suzie to pick up.
They were waiting all night.
"Suzie, this is Dustin. Do you copy? Over. Suzie--"
"Dustin, come on! She's not there." Max interrupted Dustin
"She's there, alright? She'll pick up" he insisted
"Maybe cerebro doesn't work" will suggested
"Or maybe Suzie doesn't exist" Lucas suggested
"She exists!" Dustin said, completely offended by what Lucas just said
"She's a genius and she's cuter than Phoebe Cates? No girl or guy is that perfect" Lucas told Dustin.
Max decided to joke around with Lucas a little bit, so she got up pretending to be offended and asked him, "is that so?"
He sat up "I mean... You're perfect. I mean, like per- perfect in your own way. in your special- your own special way"
Max chuckled and said "Relax, I was teasing. I'm obviously perfect and Dustins obviously lying." Max then stood up and put her hand out so that Lucas could grab it "come in, Don Juan"
"Where are you going?" Dustin asked max and Lucas
"Home" max replied
"Well, I guess it's just you, Harrington, and me, Byers." Dustin said
"Um... It's late." Will said to dustin "sorry. Maybe tomorrow we can play d&d. Or something fun. Like we used to?" Will said
"Yeah, sure." Dustin said
"Welcome home" Will said, then left.
"Yeah... Welcome home." Dustin said.

All of a sudden, they heard something on the radio.
Dustin tripped and grabbed the radio
"Suzie? Suzie, is that you?" Dustin asked.
But it was someone talking in Russian. Tristan turned the cerebro up.
