Valerie was sitting down on the floor, crying while delicately holding Jayme's hand. The supposed man named Harlan walked over to Jayme and Alphonso. Luther was trying to get Sloane back concisions. She heard a whistle.
"You, upstairs now!" The knife man said
She saw the two hug, then watched the boy walk away. Suddenly another member of the Umbrella academy walked in.
"Oh man, heavens to Betsy, what did you do? Did Viktor go full Carrie again?" He gasped
Viktor shook his head no.
"We didn't do this" Allison spoke
"Harlan?" Viktor spoke
"Don't! Don't come near me please" Harlan answered
"I just want to make sure that you're okay" Viktor said
Valerie was debating whether she should go back to the academy or not.
"You can.. you can talk now" Viktor said
"I can do a lot of things now" Harlan replied
Valerie heard Luther talking to Sloane and ran to her sister. But Sloane freaked out and ran away.
"You got a live one Luther!" The knife man exclaimed
Suddenly all eyes went on Valerie. She ran for it, being chased by Allison. Allison tripped her and was able to get a hold on her. They walked into the spa in the hotel. Sloane was held in the arms of the man who owned knives. He had one against her throat.
"She is the enemy" He said
"If you hurt her, I will bury you" Luther threatened
"You gonna bury me too, Luther?" Allison spat
Allison had her arms around Valerie's neck.
"Just, just let me talk to them both, okay? Please" Luther pleaded
"Trust me, they're both gonna talk" Allison assured
"It's okay" Luther assured them
They were now leaning against the wall, the knife man was spinning his knife around.
"I heard a rumor, you're gonna-" Allison spoke
"Allison, hey!" Luther said
"You're gonna tell me the truth" Allison spoke
"Let her do her thing man" The other said
"Where's the briefcase" Allison asked
Sloane and Valerie were trying to fight back the force
"Tell me, where is it." Allison demanded
The two didn't talk
"Where the hell is it" Allison said
"We don't know!" They replied
"Allison!" Luther yelled
"We left it in your house, and it is our only way out of this! Where is it!" Allison yelled
The two girls remained quiet until Luther pushed her out of the way causing the girls to gain back their conscious and fall back. Allison walked back, Sloane wrapped her arms around Valerie, the two comforting each other and making sure they weren't harmed. Luther comforted the two.
They argued until Allison yelled
"All of you just get out!" She yelled
She pointed at the two girls
"She doesn't leave your sight, you understand?" Allison demanded
Luther took the two to a room, Valerie walked away and decided to roam around the hotel. She was walking for about a while, when she saw a cleaning cart. She saw Stanley and one of the Umbrella Academy members cleaning a room.
"Ding dong, who's at the door?" The hippie like man said
"Me" Valerie spoke
They looked at her, confused and were ready for battle. She walked down to sit on the edge of the bed where the man was laying, they took it as a sign of peace and continued.
"You know it feels so good to put a name to it, so all the drugs and the manipulation and my cult" The man ranted
Valerie got up and decided to look around the room, for a pen and paper.
"You had a cult?" Stanley questioned
"Well it was the 60's, babe. Everybody had one. But the point is that all of that was a reaction to my father and his obscenely high expectations of me and then after Dad, I had Ben haunting my every move" He spoke
"Who's Ben?" Stanley asked
"Ben as in the asshole?" Valerie questioned
"Ben is your dead uncle, who's alive in this timeline but he's dead to me, doesn't matter. But I mean, if I set this room on fire" He said
He sat up from the bed.
"Yeah?" Stanley asked
"Would it be fulfilling?" The man questioned
Valerie looked at the two and smiled to herself.
"I don't know, if I was to act out now, I mean who would it even be opposition to" He spoke
Stanley continued to clean
"Maybe this whole new timeline thingy is a blessing in disguise, except for you obviously. But maybe now I can have like a normal-ish relationship with my cold and emotionless father" He said
The man caught Stanley stealing stuff and told him to put it back. Telling him to put everything back.
"I thought you were supposed to be the fun uncle" Stanley said
"I know, me too" He chuckled
Before she knew, she was on the cart with Stanley being pushed around by the man who she later learned was Klaus. Stanley told him to go faster, they stopped at the end of the hallway in front of a suite. Klaus began to pick the lock until he got it open. The two got off the cart.
Going inside the room, it was big.
"So this is what the world is like" Valerie commented
Stanley and Valerie were roaming the room, touching everything they could. Klaus said something to Stanley, Valerie found a sketchbook with its own pencils. She turned around and saw Klaus with a hole through his chest. She ran to Stanley.
"Uncle Klaus!" Stanley cried
Valerie was in horror at the sight. She had just met the two but she already adored Klaus, who was now on the floor, bleeding.
