i replied
about 20 minutes later Vamp was knocking on the door, i let him in and he followed me upstairs to my room
"shh" i said pointing to my dads room, Vamp shook his head smiling
when we got in my room he sat the bags down and went to use my bathroom
"close the door boy" i said as i heard him peeing
i looked in the bags unsure of what was for me, grabbing a fry as Vamp came out the bathroom
"you washed your hands" i asked still chewing
he walked up to me and flung the excess water onto my face
"Vamp ughhh" i grabbed his white tee and dried my face with it
"you finna stretch my shit out kid" he said as he pulled away from me and grabbed napkins
i dried the rest with the napkin he gave to me and sat back on my bed
"cry baby ass" he said as he handed me a bag with food. i mugged him as i looked inside
it was an alfredo with chicken, fries in the other section, and a buttery roll in the other
i just looked at him with puppy dog eyes because this was exactly what i wanted. "thank you Vamp" i jumped up and gave him a hug
"you good" he said as he put fries into his mouth
i hugged him tighter "hug me backkkkkk" i dragged
he put his arms around my waist and rubbed me "yo skin so fucking soft" he said in his deep, raspy voice

i lifted myself off of him and began to eat my food, he pulled out his phone and ate as he watched a show
it was kind of calming, even though we ate in silence it wasn't awkward or weird. Maz and I did this all the time back in middle school, the best conversations came out if scenarios like this

"there's nothing in there." i said waiting for Vamp to give me his drink so i could take the trash downstairs
"you rushing me like i can't take the trash lil one" he threw the cup in the bag still laying down
i closed my door as i left and was greeted with my dad standing right behind me
"Jay! i'm leaving and won't be back til tomorrow. i thought you were sleep because you didn't reply to my text so i was gonna check on you" he said taking the trash from me
"oh-" i said startled
"my phone died and i never plugged it up because Mazzi came" i lied
