"What does this make us?" I asked him
"Well, it makes us..." Evan began to speak but was cut off as we heard a loud splash from something falling into the water
we look to see what it was but stop as we notice a frying pan fall in front of us into the pool
we look up to see an elderly woman chucking things down at us
"You pan people need to take that sort of stuff into the bedroom! not in the outdoor pool where all of us can watch!" she yelled at us and then tossed a spatula at us
Evan and I quickly scattered to get out of the pool, and he ran inside forgetting his clothes
"Take your clothes with you! go finish that pan stuff in the other room!" she yelled, and I quickly grabbed our clothes and then stopped to shout back at her
"What pan stuff are you talking about?!" I asked her and she looked confused
"Well, arnt you two pansexual?" she asks me
"no..?" I responded to her, and she shakes her head
"Oh, ok well give me a second" she says and walks away from the window
I waited till suddenly a rainbow pillow hits me upside the head
I pick it up and look up at her
"Ok, now go take that gay stuff into the bedroom you two!" she shouts with a thumbs up and I couldn't help but laugh
"Thank you for the pillow! I shout at her playfully
"you're welcome sonny" she then disappears, and I carry the pillow and our clothes back into Evan's apartment
"Your neighbor gave you a new neighbor gift Evan" i laugh as I hand him the pillow
"Jesus well good to know I've got some crazy polite neighbors" Evan laughs while taking the pillow
"I'm going to go clean up, let me grab you a towel to cover up and then you can take a shower after me, ok?" Evan offers and I just smile and nod my head
Evan hands me a red towel as he walks away into his bedroom with a blue towel
I hear the water turn on and I just sit in the living room floor just gazing at his apartment
I start to check my phone and notice I've got some messages from Brock
Brock: hey Jon, Brian mentioned something about going over to Evan's new place, want to go?
Brock: Luke said hes up for going too if youre good with it
Brock: why is it you arnt reading my messages? are you busy?
Brock: ok ok ok, I'll leave ya be, I'll see ya after school
Brock: dude where are you?
finally I respond
Jon: hey ill just meet you there at Evan's alright? got sick and skipped school, when are y'all headed over to his place?
brock didnt respond so i sat my phone down once I heard the water turn off
I get up and walk to Evans room and notice him wrapped back in the towel now all fresh and clean
"Ha, want a show already?" Evan laughed as I stood in his room
my face blew up red
"What- no of course not, I'm waiting for my turn" I said
